Man, even nice solid aftermarket mounts aren't that much. You can get the pair of solid side mounts for about $300 last I checked. A stock one should have been way less than that, and very easy to change yourself if you just have a jack to support the motor while you swap it.

Oh well, I guess they have to make a profit somehow.

Maybe Obama can start overseeing mechanics next? We wouldn't want anyone turning a (potentially) unfair profit margin...
