Hi guys and gals?

ive been a member at mazda3forums since i got my 3 in September. its a white mazda3 i touring 5spd. its a great car but seems to like getting messed up. first snow of this year i go around a corner at like 5 mph (too fast my bad) and i slid over a curb and busted the plastic gravel guard and splash shield (not like me to hop curbs) then i get back from leave (im in the army) i goto the car wash and while im washing the engine bam those 90 mph winds... there goes my hood into the windshield (not breaking it) smashing both the fender (no pics yet) and denting the hood all up. estimate on thursday

Don't worry. I took an exit and didn't see that it turned or that it was iced over and BAM my rear fender went right into a pole. Ask Greek8 about his adventures with body damage.

At least you didn't hit one of those concrete poles at a gas station. You know -- the ones meant to keep you from hitting other things?

That cost my insurance a whopping $4K.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one getting their new ride jacked up.

Sorry to hear about the mishaps, I just parked mine and the snowplow guy thought it needed to be plowed with the snow. :( Day 13 with out car, if I get it back before February I'll be impressed.

Welcome!

Welcome to the club!! *knock on wood* I can't say anything bad has happened to my cars in a while. The last thing we had was the RX-8 did the 360 and slid straight into the curb about $3k later it was up and running.

Welcome to the site!

Jeez I had no idea there had been so much Mazda carnage going on in CO! Worst thing I have had happen was I hit a "puddle" while following my girlfriend back from the tint shop. Turns out the puddle was really a broken water main that created a sinkhole that ate one of my Shinka's. Scratched all to hell now. Luckily its not bent.

Welcome to the site.

I guess it is like the old Jeeping Joke. You don't dent it up untill it is all painted and looking nice.
It must apply to new cars as well.
