Two words: Peyton Manning.

Edit: The Williams' sisters (tennis). It's just not fair... They remind me of Bernice, on Dodgeball.

Two words: Champ Bailey.

Edit, make it four words and add: John Fox.

If those two hadn't made mistakes all game long, Peyton wouldn't have had to try to take the whole team on his shoulders and try to score yet again after the defense blew ANOTHER lead.

I will admit that yes, he made a bad decision throwing that pass. As soon as he started scrambling I was thinking he better be throwing it away because he has never been a mobile quarterback even in his younger days. But they had that game won several times even before going to OT if they just didn't give up bombs to mediocre Joe Flacco. Or make terrible decisions in the final two minutes of the game to allow the Ravens the chance to come back. I mean really, when your defense has been as bad as it's been all game long giving up big plays, why the hell would you think you could trust them and not try to close it out when you had the chance. Fire John Fox.

Ok, so yea that was actually 187 words.

When the announcers/commentators said fox was a defensive guy and trusted his defense, I about came unglued and I'm not a fan of the broncos. The play calls on the last 3 running plays of regulation were horrible. The missed pass interference on the first int was not good. Taking a knee with 40 seconds on the clock I question. Peyton's fumble was questionable. Decker played well, the line played well, hillman played well...the offense did pretty well...defensively, I was dissappointed...arm chair coaching at its best!

Honestly, there's a lot of people to blame for that loss to Baltimore.
The play calling was awful. Taking a knee and playing for overtime was an awful decision. Just look at how Atlanta won their game. Got the ball with about 30 seconds left, got far enough down field for a field goal, and kicked one to win.
The defense couldn't seem to make a play when it mattered even once. They did an awful job of stopping Baltimore from converting third downs. They got no pressure on Flacco at all. They seemed to get pass interference penalties on passes plays that really ended up hurting them. Which leads me to the officiating.
The officials were absolutely awful. I feel like it was very one sided. Personally, I thought they called a lot of very questionable penalties on us while missing blatant penalties from the Ravens. They also did an awful job in general with figuring out penalties and reviewing plays. They took so long on some calls that it just completely prevented our offense from getting into any sort of rhythm.
The offense isn't without blame either. They couldn't even pick up a yard when it mattered. When you can't convert on a 2nd and 1 and end up punting the ball because you fail on 2nd and 3rd to convert, you aren't playing at a playoff level. You can't give up turnovers, especially on so close to your own goal line.
The Broncos as a whole weren't really playing playoff level ball and I don't think they deserved to win.

Actually, very well put. I think there were all of three people that earned their paychecks that game- everyone else (including the coaching staff) deserved to lose....and yes Erod, that most certainly includes Peyton. He's not perfect ya know.

Point being (ie. my original point). Peyton was once a great qb. He's still a good qb. But he's running out of steam and he's a choker.

I'm not saying Peyton is perfect. I'm not saying he is without blame in the loss. I'm just tired of the Tebow crew coming out of the woodwork again (after being silent during the 11 game winning streak) and putting the blame for the loss solely on the interception in overtime, glossing over all the other times in the game where the defense and coaching staff completely blew it.

I never said he was blameless, only that a whole lot more went wrong in that game than just the pick at the end, but most of the Tebow worshippers refuse to acknowledge that.

Do you Speak of the "rolling hills" as you pass the intersection? If so Broadway is full of those. Evans and Broadway was the worst. But now we are getting a concrete intersection. Speer and Broadway also have rolling hills.

I attribute them to the tar not being allowed to properly cool before traffic is routed onto the tar. The weight of the cars and trucks makes some nice valleys

yup those, drive me CRAZY! I have to crawl over that intersection at 5mph or it'll break my car... same with 6th & broadway,

It's been bad like that since i've lived here, and they aren't going to lay down new concrete until they're done with all that construction there... THANK GOD they fixed up the southern part of broadway, i tested out the new concrete last night and its nice, finally!

Hindsight is 20/20, so of course now that the Bronco's lost it looks like a foolish decision to take a knee and go into OT with 40 some seconds on the clock and 2 time outs.

But, consider what would have happened if they decided to go for the win at that point, and Manning throws a pick 6 and game over. That's the kind of coaching decision that gets you fired, much more so than taking a knee and loosing in double OT. If that had happened (or even just an interception or fumble and Ravens recovery and they kick a FG) just imagine for a second the outrage that fans would be crying now, MUCH more than they are for NOT taking the risk.

The fact remains the Broncos didn't play that great the entire game, the defense gave up big play after big play to keep the Ravens energized and in the game, and because of the poor defensive play they couldn't be aggressive offensively.

I do agree there were some pretty horrible calls in the game (on both sides) but more towards the Broncos, the worst was the abortion of a pass interference call on Champ in the dwindling seconds that extended the Ravens drive to a TD. It was pretty much textbook perfect coverage and he got a flag.

Before I rant too long though, the NFL seriously needs to revise the defensive pass interference rule, because it's farrrrr too subjection and not ruled consistently on, and the penalty is far too great. It needs to be a 10 or 15 yard penalty at most with a 1st down, no more half the distance to the goal BS. Offensive interference is only 10 yards, I know it's an offensive driven league but please, enough is enough and it's gone on for too long and decided too many big games.

Agree, I was playing with some today since it was warm out,
It's very picky about temp and I kept having to clear the nozzle, and it sprayed weird and globby, this was a blaze color vs regular black, black seemed less picky in the past...
Either way my project turned to shit... (iPhone case)

-pedestrians and cyclists who just sit there at a crosswalk or corner, facing the street, acting like they want to cross when they really don't. (Today in Golden at a traffic citcle myself and every other car was slamming on our brakes to let some guy cross, who didn't really want to cross, but caused a traffic jam instead.)

-all of my apple products except iPods

-relationships.
