Yeah... idk if this is the right section for it but here goes.. Does anyone know of a decent car shipping company? I'm trying to ship a car from Cali to Colorado and the last experience I had with a random shipper from the internet ended with an exhaust that was ripped off the car and bent in half.
Personal experience would be great and looking for reasonably priced, fairly quick delivery.

Most car delivery businesses will charge an extra surcharge or fee for a non operational vehicle. It makes it much more difficult for them to move the car around, obviously, so there are some extra fees there. Just like anything, though, some companies apply a "reasonable" fee while others will gouge you simply because they don't like moving non op cars.
I would look into Realible Carriers, I've never personally had a vehicle shipped anywhere but my Uncle has used them numerous times in the past and they are exceptionally professional, but I would say they are a bit on the high side as far as pricing.
What are your plans with the FD? It will be great to have another up here, there's really two up here (Matt/Alpha and myself) so it will be cool to have another.

Unfortunately it wont be here for very long.. but maybe we could meet up and do a cruise or something if the weather is good.
Right now the car is fairly tastefully modified. Its running a Haltech E8, Peter Farrell Race intercooler, and a Greddy T78. We had played with the idea of building a semi-peripheral port engine.. but that's a little overkill for what the car will be used for. The engine will be rebuilt and it will get a fairly aggressive street port. Looking to make around 450 at the wheels.
I was going to give Matt a shout and see if either him or you knew where to find a rotor and a housing. I won't know for sure if its needed until I get the engine torn apart tho.

Sounds like a good setup. T78 makes good power but is an old school snail so the spool is slow and steady. Some like its smooth power delivery though.
As far as rotor housings and irons your best bet is rx7club.com or ebay. If you get a used set I would recommend sending the housings to Goopy for their refinishing services and the irons to Chips Motorsports or Mazdatrix to get lapped and renitrated. That works essentially like new condition parts. I also highly recommend ALS apex seals, they are unbelievably good.
If you need a hand stacking the motor just let me know!

So it looks like it will get a set of Atkins seals, already had access to a spare rotor kit from them. I didn't know about Goopy's services tho, do you know if they have a quick turn around? There prices are pretty reasonable, I wonder what process they are using.

I would honestly avoid Atkins apex seals. It isn't that they're bad seals, but they are just middle of the road IMO. I would go OEM 3 piece seal over Atkins, honestly. They aren't really designed for high power, anything for 400rwhp can be questionable. For the price, you can get ALS or Goopy seals which are INCREDIBLE, I can't stress how awesome these seals are. There is LITERALLY no reason not to run either ALS or Goopy seals IMO.
I'm pretty sure Goopy has quick turn around, I would contact them and go from there. I'm not sure of the machining process they use, it's obviously a little secretive so other shops don't try to replicate it.
