Back to the plate covers- I don't get it. Why do you want them? So you can run red lights?

15% tint may look cool, but its not very functional. I like being able to see outside my windows at night, but that's just me.

Oh, and welcome!

I was pulled over/cited for plate covers... I got them to match the oem tint of my taillights...

Plate covers, yes so that the cameras can't pick up the plate. That's the only reason. As for tint. I am looking for looks more than function. I don't mind rolling windows down at night.

You can try a million different products, but short of covering your plate with an opaque material that will immediately get you pulled over, you won't be beating any speed cameras or red light cameras. Not worth it dude.

I had 15% tint 'back in the day' and its amazing I didn't kill myself (or others). Winters aren't fond of downed windows.

Good luck with your murdering though. Look forward to pics....
