Put into my context, the bold has me teary eyed.
Think of a wastegate in a human phisiological sense...and you too may chuckle.
College students who fail to remove their laundry from washer and/or dryers in a timely fashion when 300+ students share 8 washers and 8 driers. Especially when there is a service you can set up to receive a text or email when the cycle is done.

Sorry the cruise didn't go so hot.
Yes the car wastegates.

My exhaust actually isn't that bad anymore, the wastegates are ridiculous though lol.

Most people, if I pass by them quickly, I'll let off a little so they're not so loud. Not the guy in the van. Actually it wasn't even him I was pissed at, I was just pissed at the day in general, all the a-holes seeming like they were purposefully going slow lol.

when you're on EB 225 and you think there's an exit for Yosemite only to find out there isn't, and having to drive all the way down to Parker just to turn around (in terrible traffic too)
and it's happened to me b4

ummm, I thought there was an exit right on the interchange pretty much (DTC Boulevard/Yosemite).
I was gonna make a rant in the 'other automotive discussion' section but decided it would fit here cause it's been grinding my gears almost all day.
The SciBaToyo (FR-S,BRZ, GT-86) has been in a few magazines lately. I was at discount tire for a little over an hour today and read like 4 different articles about the car. What I read for the $25k base model (Apparently that's the only trim package it comes in unless ordered.) is that it is a great car. It's a cheap and priced well for it's market, a market that it is all alone in. 200hp and 150ft-lb of torque is plenty.
What gets me is all the positive feedback and hype this car is getting. I love the way it looks. I kinda want one. I thought about trading grey 8 in for one. I was at the dealership looking at it and couldn't help but feel that it was too small. Less room in the back then even a mustang and eclipse. The RX-8 has way more room in the back and even more trunk space. After actually sitting in it and messing around (no time for a test drive) I left with not really caring for it much. I love the exterior but nothing in the inside really said premium or felt that way. Atleast the RX-8 for the same price and more power (but a few more pounds) felt/looked like it used premium materials. I can't stop comparing it to an RX-8 because they are so similar. They would be dead even in a drag race because the 8 weighs more but I still think the 8 would be the winner. They are (were) priced the same. The RX-8 had good reviews but not as great as the FR-S. The Articles would all complain that the 8 didn't have enough power, that it was priced too high, That this could have been better or that. With this car though I've read nothing really negative. It bothers me.
If Mazda managed to get the 8 to pass the European emissions standard and still produced the 8 I wonder what the comparisons would be and what the articles would say. Would they change their minds and say the 8 is well priced or say that both cars are over priced? Which would win a showdown. One article compared it to "the car that started it all," a 240sx. Why not compare it to a 350/370z like the RX-8 was instead of saying it doesn't have any competitors? Why not do a comparison to cars of past like the 8 and the eclipse. It kinda bugs me. I like both the FR-S and the RX-8. I wish Mazda still made the 8 for at least one more year so we could see these comparison reviews. But that's not the case.
This car is getting more hype and praise than it really deserves and it is grinding my gears.
