Yeahhh! VMIC + T72= Win! lol. Took the FD for a spin and is a whole different car. Turbo spools way faster now. The BOV is nasty loud, now that I change the spring it stays shut not open like before.

I see you also moved the fan relays and stuff, looks great. Can't believe the VMount makes the turbo spool that much quicker, but that is some short charge pipping.

Ordered a turbo funnel from turbonetics it will be replacing my k&n filter if it fits. I feel like the filter takes away a lot from the turbo. I'm also looking at installing a 2 step system along with a line lockand also beefing up the rear end.

Making a drag car? Haha sounds cool, what are you doing for a 2 step? Are you keeping your HKS twin power or doing an MSD CDI system?

If you sell your twin power let me know!

Keeping the twin power,fc coil, msd 6al with 2 step module. Is not going to be a full blown drag car but I'll like to take it to the strip every now and then. 2 step is a must if I dont want to keep breaking the rear end and. But ill use the stock rear end untill it breaks that way I can have an excuse for the wife lol.

Using the twin power with a MSD CDI box? Not sure it that will work? I think it's overkill too, you only need one or the other IMO.

Also, MSD sells that 6AL-2 that has a built in 2 step, so you don't need the module.

Dave, Im still doing some research on the MSD install. I found a diagram you made and posted on 7club but no one confirmed that it works. You are right the Twin Power is gonna have to go. As soon as i get confident with the install i'll go ahead and pull the trigger.

Today I installed the Turbonetics velocity stack, God it looks beautiful lol
Here is a pic ( sorry for the quality)

I'll be going to home depot tomorrow to find some kind of mesh to the turbo inlet

Yeah I just wasn't sure the HKS TP would work with any CDI box, but the again, I've never heard of anyone trying. If you sell the the HKS TP it will basically pay for the MSD box haha.

Yeah, I made that diagram a while ago, but I recently found out I had polarity to the coils incorrect. Let me knowif you do the MSD box because wiring is it pretty straightforward, it's just the 2 step part that gets tricky with a relay and the cutting power to the trailing coils.
