With the price of ammo going up these days... I've decided to order one of these last night for my AR.

Mine is chambered for 5.56 so it will shoot both 5.56 and .223 safely. I prefer 5.56 but if I can fine a good price on .223, I'll get that.
I think the price has gone up a pass few months because of all the tax returns and maybe the up coming election and people are panicking just like last time... crazy people driving the prices up.

I just got back from the range to try out my CMMG 22 conversion kit. Took the wife to shoot too but she didn't want to touch the AR even when it's converted to .22. She just shot the 9mm. Anyway, it worked flawlessly. Fairly accurate, the grouping is the same as the 5.56 rounds at 35-40 feet. I didn't go any farther with the .22. I even did rapid fire with not a single jam. Had a few FTF but that's just the nature of .22 rimfire. I used the Federal Bulk pack that you can get at Walmart. I left the good CCI stuff at home.
Basically, I love this thing, very fun to shoot and easy on the wallet. The conversion can be done back and forth in about 10 secs. Very happy with the purchase.
