I just installed the bracket and and put the intercooler to see how it looks. I want to do the Dual coolers first. I haven't tried the radiator yet.

Today I started the polishing process of the compressor housing. So far so good, started with a 80 grid some power tools. This is a lot of work as I anticipated. Here is what I have so far.

Oh hey, can you remove the turbo with the compressor housing off or would it still require an engine pull? LOL

Received my Hallman Boost controller, a couple 8an fittings for my dual oil cooler conversion and some other goodies. I forgot a couple fittings so i'll have to wait on that.

Also the "-8" braided line that I bought from frozenboost.com isn't -8 after they sworn up and down it was -8. Or lines are not compatible with the fittings I have.

About the polishing thing Im not going to be able to finish any time soon. I'll be going to the damn field next monday for 3 weeks. So I think i'll end up dropping these parts for polishing. By the way does anyone have any experience with Front Range Custom Polishing??? He quoted me $245 for turbo and UIM.

Also does anyone know where to buy a stainless steel braided lines?

That reminds me, Tyler bought a boost controller from Joe P (on Dave's recommendation) and they never sent it, and now he can't get ahold of them, their site says it's been suspended. LOL So he bought a Hallman controller too.

Anyway, that line may still be -8, some lines aren't compatible with some fittings from what I've heard. I could be wrong though.

That sucks you're going to the field. That's a long freakin time haha.

Whisler Bearing down on Cascade (one block west of Nevada) sells braided line, fittings, all that stuff. But it's pretty pricy. They can make the lines for you too if you want.

What the issue with the size; hose or fitting? If you're not using brand for brand parts (i.e. Earls hose on Earls fitting, etc) then they can be a major bitch to get secured properly.

I did have a similar issue, however, with Aeroquip braided SS hose. It was sold as -4AN but it wasn't NEARLY large enough, it was more like -3AN at most. It was physically loose in the socket.

For braided hose I just ordered it from Summit Racing off eBay. Best deal I could really find on reputable hose.

So Joe P shut down??!! Of course, throw me under the bus haha! I had just heard his boost controllers are legit and for a good price. Now I feel bad Tyler got ripped.

Just got back from frozenboost they gave me a refund without any questions so great customer service.

There hose is different for some reason. If you go to their website you will see that they use a different type of fitting.

Also receive a Pro-sport boost gauge, really impressed with the quality for the price.

Oh yeah, just looked on their site, their hose and fitting are different. They're designed to be used with a compression AN fitting with a ferrul, instead of the conventional socket and fitting type of AN hose end.

Relocated the relay box yesterday, also finished polishing the cold side i/c piping provided by Defined Autoworks. Also went thru the motions of installing the V Mount kit. Not to impressed with this kit. Top radiator hose doesn't fit due to the fact that the radiator is not modified properly, bottom radiator hose fits like ###.

Here is a pic to here I relocated the relay box, you have to disassemble the relay box itself, remove the hood latch and squeeze the relay box thru the front frame.

This is how my radiator looks

Mine fit slightly better than that. It was a bitch. I had to move it and re-align it a bunch to get it to fit properly. I don't understand why they didn't just use a dual pass radiator and put the outlet on top.
