I agree, Eduardo and Eric! That is the main reason I wanted to rebuild the motor, port it, and do everything I can on my own. You just get that sense of pride and then when showing the car off I can tell people, "Yeah, I built that motor". Not many enthusiasts can say that.
BUT, I haven't done it all on my own, I have received a tremendous amount of help and support from YOU GUYS as well as knowledge and information. Thanks!

Lubed up the oil control o-ring Viton inserts with copious amounts of Vaseline and put them in the oil control rings. That larger ring with the o-ring going on the inside of it is a tricky bastard! I was nearly convinced it wouldn't fit but once I got it on there it I figured out the trick and the rest were a snap. Put the ring back in their trays and seals them in individual baggies.
Also got most of my AN adapter pieces so I used some ARP thread sealant to install the metric oil adapters in the front cover and oil filter pedestal (M18x1.5mm to -10AN Male for those who are curious), turbo oil feed in the front iron (M14x1.5mm to -4AN Male) and the adapters for the primary rail I had previously tapped (1/4-27 NTP to -6AN Male).
I also mocked up the new oil cooler I got, it's a pretty common size being a 19-row cooler, fits just fine. A mounting bracket should be pretty easy for it. I then tried to find a spot for the -10AN catch can I got from JEGS. Although it's a smallish catch can, it's not going to be easy finding a spot to mount it, considering the -10AN routing that needs to go to it. I also need to find a spot to mount the MSD CDI box. An ABS delete is looking more and more attractive just to find a spot to mount all this stuff haha!

MOTOR IS BUILT AND IN THE CAR!!! WAHHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I have to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to (in no particular order) ERIC, EDUARDO, and MATT. Guys came up to help build and dress the motor, then spent the night to help drop it back this morning.
Motor went together really well. First rotor we had a small "learning curve" issue. Since I am using the Atkins solid corner seals (without the plug) and we forgot about this, which made putting in the apex seals springs a MAJOR bitch. Eduardo finally realized this so we pulled the corner seals and the springs went in without issue.
After that the motor went together just fine. One of the tension bolts had some tape on the threads so it wouldn't go in. Last minor issue was when we were installing the pilot bearing and dust seal, the dust seal got damaged so we had to reuse the old one. Luckily it wasn't in horrible shape so it will work, and it's just a cap.
The motor went in without much issue, it just took a few minutes to mate up with the clutch release bearing and the springs in the transmission. Once that happened it dropped right in without issue.
I will get some pictures up soon but I didn't take many since we were all so busy haha. I think Matt took a few more.
