Last time I broke anything video game related, I cracked the top screen of my original Nintendo DS when I got mad at mario cart lol. Hit the screen against my knee lol. Haven't ever broken anything for a console though. It is easy to get mad at games though. Took me forever to pass one of the tests for the IA license on Gran Turismo 4 around the Nurburgring track in an old Mercedes. Took me like a year, literally. I never played it much, but between the first time I tried and when I finally beat it, it had been over a year.

I still got paper boy for my gameboy. Someone stole my gameboy on an airplane on the way back to the US. It fell and slid back a few rows. No one "saw" it at all. Little kid loses his gameboy so you keep it. I was like 5-6 or something like that.

That grinded my gears.

Ditto on an Ipod Nano, though I wasn't a kid.

people that hate on apple for no educated reason... which tend to be the same people that vote based off political party alone

AND traffic. Highway 52 speed limit is 55mph.... but there are now 2-3 people going 40 in the morning on a daily basis. When 2 or more cars pass you because you are going so slow, GET OFF THE #%&^!$ ROAD!!!!

I've actually decided on getting an iPhone LOL. I've been asking around again recently, and it seems like more and more people I've asked that have had both iPhone and non-iPhone are going back to it or say they love it. One of the drawbacks I could see before was that it didn't have a memory card, but with iCloud and since I have a MacBook already, that shouldn't be a problem. Now I'm wondering if it's secure lol. Either way, I never felt married to Apple products, nor was I so much against them not to consider them. So I'm waiting for the first person to tell me I drank the kool-aid or whatever because I have an iPhone...LOL.

Anyway, my real rant is this...

Something that just really gets my goat is when people can't shut off the water when they're finished with it. More and more recently I've been seeing idiots that can't shut off the water while they're brushing their teeth or whatever they're doing when they're not using it. And most of the time it's been not just a trickle and not just half way, but on full blast. I was just in the bathrooms and there was a guy brushing his teeth with the water on full blast. I was brushing my teeth at the same time and we were facing opposite directions so I was watching him in the mirror. He finished brushing, put his brush away, dried his hands, threw the towel away, and started flossing, the whole time with the water running full blast. For what possible reason did he need the water on at this point, or any point prior to this other than washing the toothpaste off his brush??? When he started flossing I was done brushing my teeth and I couldn't take any more so I just walked back to take my shower. It took a lot for me to not go off on this guy. Well, I was probably 50/50. I talk a big game but I usually end up taking some time and cooling off. Unlike with electronics LOL.

Oh, and I should mention that we are supposed to be taking 3 minute showers because of water shortages. It's been like that for the past 3 years I've been here and I don't see it changing any time soon. Even if you don't pay for the wasted water, that's still no reason to just let it run down the drain. Even if you're staying in the shower a few extra minutes just to get warm, at least you're getting SOME use out of it. THIS is just stupid.

I thanked you on the iPhone by the way.

Also my rant as of late:

Pueblo. The job market. It's like if you don't have EXPERIENCE you can't get a god forsaken job. My other half applied for Convergys, on the app it stated no experience, so he applies. The HR department calls him the other day and says "sorry you don't have 5 years of EXP"

REALLY!? Give me a break. How does ONE get a job if someone doesnt have the EXP for that job. Seriously people! I'm starting to HATE this town more and MORE!

My question would be why they put "no experience needed" on the application and then required experience. Could that be considered false advertising by any chance?

I'm thinking so. I'm not sure you can do anything about it, can you?

edit:

They told him he had to reapply, because he didn't complete it. Yet we went back on our application and he completed every single thing. What do you guys think? lol...

People or groups of people that are too PC.

New school can’t be Cougars because middle-aged women might be offended

http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/highschool-prep-rally/school-t-cougars-because-middle-aged-women-might-161402778.html

And even more puzzling "why would the board even offer "Cougars" as a potential mascot choice if it wasn't prepared to accept it? That lack of logic is positively baffling."

Truth!!!

It's crazy how PC the world is becoming, day by day........
