iani1.1 wrote:It's a kinda of an easy swap I suppose. Some people like to be different.

It went from a b series swap to an f to a h then k then j. I wonder what's next lol

It's kinda out of order, but maybe an L swap, or M swap lol.

chickenwafer wrote:Hahahahaha I just had to quote that

Dude the F swap is like 5-6 years ago haha. It's all about the K swap now, or the J V6 swap.

Glad you liked it, but it's true HAHA. I've felt that way for a long time now lol.

I'm not sure I've even heard of the K. What did that one come in?

mOOsE wrote:Some of us went to D swaps first lol... (1.6 SOHC VTEC w/crower stg 2 cam ftw)

Yeah I thought I had read that some people were sticking with the D, but I didn't know people were actually swapping it in haha.

erod550 wrote:Low 13s is pretty quick if it's still NA and all they did was just swap a stock J-series. There's still a lot of work you can do to make it faster with NA mods, boosting it, extreme weight reduction. Still, it's now even more heavily weighted to the front, so you can forget about doing anything but drag racing the thing. Talk about understeer.

My point is, you could take the money you would pay for a V6, put that into work on the current engine, boring it out even, not have to deal with mounting issues and the extra weight and STILL probably hit 13s. And like you mentioned, it wouldn't be as good at anything but drag racing now, so congrats on limiting yourself to one type of racing LOL.

I was thinking must unsee.

WOW lol.

It's hard to tell from the pics, but honestly, I don't think the paintjob is all that bad. It's all the other stuff that make it ricey, the wing and all.

I saw a late '80s civic with fender vents cut with a sawzall this morning.

Not sure if you would call this rice or what it really is:

Ir you look really close to the back of the car it says, "repent of die" and there are some bible verses all over the car.

I don't think people really think about that phrase when they say it. It doesn't really work. You can repent all you want, but you're still going to die, we all are. So it doesn't really make sense.

I like those rear fender flares lol. Looks like they took some front fenders off an old Datsun Bluebird or something and screwed them on lol.

That's a Supra? I thought it was a Conquest or Starion, but I guess it is an old Celica Supra.

Yeah, that's an 82 Celica Supra. Stunned the world when it came out - people were drooling in the streets.
