When people don't cover their mouths when they cough.
When people are sick, but choose to contaminate others by venturing out.
When people cough into their hands, then touch things.
When people cough *on* you.
...so the other night, I let this dude go down the stairs before me. He then proceeds to cough, repeatedly into the air...while walking down the stairs. I'm stuck walking right through his cloud of germs. ARgh...

totally with you there!!!! in that situation i hold my breath and squint my eyes, i hate germs... Really hate it when a waiter/cook or any food-related person is obviously sick and at work, it should be a mandatory-paid-time-off till your not contagious type of thing... my friend and i got sick from a sick waitress at a thai place a few weeks back... we were super careful, but still got it...

ha ha ha, nice! I did the same thing. I moved to the opposite side of the staircase, held my breath, then breathed out (as if that helped, ha ha) and squinted till I had passed him and gotten a safe distance away

I think we just discussed this a couple pages back lol. I agree. Like I said before, it really ticks me off that they always wanna deliver when you're not gonna be at home.

Agreed. I can't stand inconsiderate people, and this is ridiculous. I guess they just weren't taught better. And I've been through walking through someone's cough before, with nowhere to go. I hate that.

Absolutely. When I was deployed 10 years ago, there was a guy that lived across the hall from me that never showered...or at least he tried not to, until they ordered him to. He would wear his PT gear under his uniform. After work, he would take off his uniform and put on jeans, never removing his PT gear, get on the computer or whatever, come back and take off his jeans and go to sleep, get up in the morning and put on his uniform again. I'm pretty sure he didn't do any laundry either. It smelled so bad in his room that the stench was filling the hallway too. His roommate was furious. His bosses MADE him shower. Ugh.

My job.
I got hurt on the job last week. I slipped on black ice after I got out of my car. Since then, I've been in pure pain in my wrists. My right wrists is healing , the left is swollen and infected, both are actually where I had landed on the black pavement. I'd show a photo, but your stomachs may turn... .anyway, their workman's comp doctor keeps saying that I'm not infected. YEt I am. If i put peroxide on it, it bubbles, all that good stuff. Yet they still wont do anything about it, and all they tell me is 'go see the doctor'. Seriously? Why do companies try to screw their employees? Why?
