He used to show up to the Cupcake Meets in Texas!
It looks pretty good but it's not functional.
He should invest in some bags

Depending on how that car performs (i.e. how fast it is or isn't), I wouldn't really call it rice. It's not like it has a huge body kit, undercar lights (sorry Shadowden, I know they hold a special place in your heart LOL) or any of that stuff. It is very basic in the looks department, other than the gaping hole in the hood lol. But again, it depends on how it performs. I do think they probably could have worked on some kind of hood to cover that though haha.

At least you can turn off under car lights...haters:)

I know you really like lights...although the purple ones I saw on a white fj didn't do much for me.

Agreed. A V6 swap is a genuine effort to improve performance. "rice" generally implies making it look fast without actually improving performance. Not a fan of the cut hood though.

There are many V6 swapped Proteges- and you don't have to cut the hood.

wrong place for it, but you seem really chill for being in a freaking desert (in a war zone). I have obviously never been deployed, but I feel like I would be wound tighter than a (insert something that is wound amazingly tight).

In any event good for you and thanks.

p.s. the chill factor would definately play to your benefit in a F&F driving cameo...

let's just say its a new honda fad. swapping the honda j-series 3.2 into civics, accords, etc. i see no point honestly, though i admit it works. low 13s on street tires with an unmodified 3.2 stuffed into a civic.

edit: a cut hood does not make a car rice though it is a bit tacky

So I don't know a ton about this, but I'm guessing it's easier to swap a honda j-series into a civic than doing something like an ls swap into an rx-7. Now, my question is, if you want a car like a civic to go fast as a fwd car, why spend the money on the swap? Wiki says the j32 was used in the 99-08 TL and like 01-03 TL and some Japanese honda model. Wouldn't it be easier to go straight for the older TL? I see a 99 for 3k on craiglist, and 00 for 4k, and plenty under 5k. Or is it actually cheaper to swap in a j32? I can see it being a bit quicker since the Civic isn't really a fat pig like the TL, but personally, if I'm gonna spend the money on something like that, I'd rather get the whole car.

That being said, I love my dad's TL. That thing is fun to drive lol.
