Though I'm looking forward to driving in the snow again, it'll be sad to take the wheels off.

This will be my first winter driving the Miata full time in the snow. I hardly go anywhere anymore though since I work from home, so most of the time we'll just take my wife's Impreza. I have a set of studded snow tires I'll throw on the Miata once it starts getting bad, though.

^Yeah, you can't even flood the interior without getting problems. What's up with that?! LOL

I think I told you about his Audi Simon. Nice huh?

Here's my Coolingmist setup:

The w/m is set to start spraying at 16psi (I thought 10psi was too low, only to find 16psi is too high so I'm aiming for 11psi - 12psi next...)

The pump sits inside the 1.5gal tank (living up in the Colorado/Wyoming area, I want to keep my wiper fluid separate)

For me, I prefer, just filling up with pure methanol from a local fueling place, and mixing it with distilled water. I use 3 - five gallon jugs for the methanol, and one - 2 gallon jug for my 50/50 mix. And for ease of use I made the funnel/hose to fill the tank, though the tank can slide out from the cubby hole to be filled too.

RAI Testpipe attached to my OBX customized DP. Ended up modifying the TP so it would mate up.

Looks good Dave! How much power are you aiming for?

The water/meth install looks clean. I just spray windshield fluid so I tapped my stock spray tank so it can still spray the windshield and also spray the meth.

Optimally I'd love 300-310awhp. Realistically 270 - 290awhp. Not bad for a quattro automatic at altitude. We'll see in about a week or so when I go back to boostcreep, for another dyno.

Very nice WMI install. That was the next mod for the MS3 before I decided to trade it in. I had those same jugs filled with methanol that I had bought when I first bought a kit but then had to return it.

Yeh, I think I still have some of your original methanol left. Though with my current settings, I'll probably go through it quick!

I was at Boost Creep when I blew my engine in January. Dave was about to tune (hadn't done anything yet) but Harvey was the one "driving" the car on the dyno, and even though the water temp gauge was right on the A pillar and it was reading very high with a blinking red light, he says "hey, what's this?" even though it says water temp right on it. REALLY?! You're a tuner and you don't recognize an overheating car? When I tore the engine down it didn't look like it had any damage from overheating, but between that and his general lack of compassion for my engine just blowing on his dyno, he really pissed me off and I'll never go back to him, even just to use his dyno. We accidentally ripped off one of my oil coolers while trying to tow start the car, and he was joking around about it later. I REALLY wasn't in the mood for joking.

He seemed like a pretty legit guy, when I went in for my baseline. Though he did make fun of my oil temp gauge ;-( But I'm not going in for a tune or anything just a follow up dyno. And my baseline will be bunk if I swap shops now. Are you still in country?!?
