I've also read that at partial throttle our ECU adjusts timing on the fly and it is registered as KR when timing is pulled. You may not be actually getting knock at all. WOT KR is a different story. As was said above, a good rule of thumb is to be under 2 at WOT.

Its that exact reason why I change my knock sensor to only report knock above a certain load. That said I also extended the knock sensor to 7000 rpms and I noticed that anytime I hit the rev limiter and it cuts ignition it is reported back as knock. I think the sensor is pretty sensitive.

Yes but I don't know if I would recommend it. Stock they are set to 40 load in the lower RPMs. I set them to 70 but I am considering moving them back. It would be hard to detonate bad enough to cause damage at that low of a load but you never know I guess.

The tables are under Knock Tables. Something like minimum load activation. You will see them when you go under the right tab. The low load knock that seems common place in these cars really messes up the ability to look at the AP and determine what your highest point of knock was.
