Btw, my dad talked to the manager and even agreed that the kids should not have been rude as they were and was uncalled for. They said the next time I go in there I fawn bring a friend or whatever and get a free burger so long I purchase something else.

Another dissatisfied visit with another store that I won't be shopping at anymore. Although safeway is expensive, they do have some good deals on somethings. However, I purchased (i cant think of the name, so I'll describe it), it's where you can clean dishes hard core without having to use the stupid sponge.. (hope that helped). They said if you use your safeway card you can buy one and get one free (mix-n-match). They didnt do that and I guess I didn't realize until I got home and my parents noticed it on the receipt. This was a few weeks ago. Today my parents go to exchange it and because I wasn't there with my card (and my card is not registered in their system, I never signed up with their sign up sheet thing, I only had them enable the card like in 2009 originally). and they told my parents at the customer service desk that because they didnt have the card with them, they cannot give me money money back for however much it was (the deal was buy 2 for 5$ pretty much or buy one get one free, i forget). So, my dad said, after raising hell just give him the card to get the money back and he'll never shop there again. Upon that response, the employee said 'well why should we give you your money back if you are not going to shop here'? In turn they did give the money back, but still. What the F is up with Pueblo PEOPLE? Why so rude!? I've been going to Safeway in Colorado Springs since I moved here and never once had a issue when I had to return shit.

Agree 100%.

I hate Safeway. Every once in awhile I stop in for something from their Bakery. That's all they're good for..

Safeway is more expensive on pretty much everything they sell. King Soopers always has better deals. I actually had one lady come in today, and get over $250 worth of stuff for under $25. And that is without ANY coupons at all. I actually needed to get a manager override because she saved so much.

The problem I have is: Why do people have to be ####ing rude in customer service? I try to be nice as possible over the phone for CS for AT&T, but people STILL treat you horrible. I mean, I can understand for example if I was being a total bitch to the person on the phone, or for example RL to the employee at the store... but we wereent. It's like people here in Pueblo as far as businesses are freaking and utmost rude!

GR-8 wrote:W-vista? Why vista. W7 is what you need. It's gonna be a sad day when W8 comes out next year. It's already pissed me off.

It was for a customer, but I would take xp over vista and 7, its easy to fix and do things with. but I think vista sucks the worst as it pretty much sucks at everything lol

GR-8 wrote:I made a new partition to dual boot W8 Developer Preview with Win7 and what does Win8 do after I click to have it install on the 60gb partition? It installs on the 60GB partition and deletes everything on my w7 partition. SOB. At least I have all my pictures backed up.I think I have them all. I lost all my photoshop stuff for the restaurants, files from/for phones, everything I made for the club. I tried a recovery program and it found everything and I could see it in the preview ........ but when I copied it over to another drive they were all corrupted accept for like a few videos or 10 pictures out of 1000. I just wiped the drive and reinstalled the OS.

That sucks. I've kinda gone through the same thing, except when I first started teaching myself to fix computers I formatted my HD thinking that would erase viruses. well it did, and everything including the OS. Thinking my computer was done for, I junked it.

GR-8 wrote:Windows8 boots fast but that's the only good thing I can say about it besides some updated features that are useful. The new "start" page that looks like Windows phone7 is re-tarted. when your on the actual desktop and click the start tab you don't get the menu with all your programs. Instead you go to the WinPhone 7 screen. It's a pain to get to the settings and things that are actually windows. I did not enjoy it especially since it deleted anything.

While looking online I'm not the only that did that and had it delete everything on another partition. A few people were lucky enough to dual boot successfully. FML!

I wouldn't mind trying w-8 on my desktop but I know it would run like crap if I could even get it to install, only have 256mb of RAM, it can't even run vista  and I would hate to install it on my laptop cause I just did a fresh install of xp on it.

I must be doing it wrong. We've compared SW and KS numerous times and the tallies usually come up about the same. Both are expensive, and I can't stand KS.

That said, if someone is getting $250 of items for $25, it's obviously marked up quite healthily to start with, eh?

When you're on a business call and your dog proceeds to come in the room, prance around, and squeak his toy repeatedly...
