once I got out of a store and walking back to my rx7 I find the parking spot is empty, I panic and think holy s#!t my car is stolen, I walk around the small parking lot and don't see my car. but I do see something........ my truck...... I look around hoping no one knows what I just did. I get in the truck and leave. I sometimes drive my dads car and I look for the rx7 or the truck. I have the memory of a 90 year old.

At least they still have the option not to see it in 3D. I don't like 3D as the goggles give me headaches and I don't feel like it adds any substance to the movie. I don't go watch movies for purty explosions and CGI.

right...it doesn't add much, unless you are referring to the ticket price....

Brake shops. I don't think I'm every going to have brakes professionally serviced again after seeing firsthand how easy+cheap it is. What a racket. $199 for two pairs of civic drum brake shoes? Are they insane? I just wish I could get back all the money I've flushed down the toilet on brake service since '98.

While I'm ranting, also: Craigslist. Their reprehensible policy of not indexing classifieds posts and not telling the seller a) what's wrong b) that their post was rejected for indexing is just... slimy. I respect that sites like CL need to have standards, but keeping users in the dark when their ads are rejected is a true disservice.

I don't even know what this means. Granted, I've never had an ad rejected at CL, either.

e.g.: they show a post as 'active' in your account, but it doesn't turn up if you browse the category or search for it. Why? Too long? Unlucky keywords? Moderator having a bad day? Who knows! They won't tell you. My roommate is trying to sell their car. Couldn't get it posted. We thought maybe it was because they just created a CL account, so I tried with my 2003 CL account, same result. We're left scratching our heads, meanwhile, his for-sale car sits... Check the CL help forum, there are literally hundreds of people having the exact same problem. CL is deeply broken.

Haven't paid anyone to do my brakes in close to 10 years. I learned how to do them when I was doing newspaper delivery. Going a thousand pounds over GVWR is pretty hard on the brakes, heh, so I went through them really fast. Pads are cheap, even rotors can be too.

I just don't skimp on the brakes on my performance cars anymore. I put cheap pads and rotors on my SRT-4 and it was horrible. Lost a ton of braking ability, which is not good when you like to drive fast. ;)

I think the nicest thing about not being fleeced by a brake shop is that you can now afford better parts and still wind up paying a fraction of what you otherwise would have... :)

The first movie I saw in 3D (Clash of the Titans) was HORRIBLE, my eyes and head hurt for a while after that. However, every 3D movie I've seen since then has rocked. Not that it's THAT much better than the regular viewing, but the only things I see in 3D are action movies anyway. It's pointless to see anything else in 3D as far as I'm concerned.

I saw the last Harry Potter movie in 3D. Those glasses are a pain in the ### if you have to wear regular glasses. Never again will I waste an extra $5 on a 3d ticket.
