Always takes longer than expected, whether it's because of a cross-threaded bolt, a bolt that gets dropped/lost, a bolt that doesn't want to come loose, a bolt that's really, really hard to get at, etc. Hmm.. seems like bolts are usually the problem, lol.

That's what its been like the last 2 weeks. I hate it.

That's how it usually is when working on the FD...a job I envision taking 30 minutes ends up taking a few hours, or all day lol. Very frustrating.

It's to the point now when my wife asks me how long it's going to take me and I say shouldn't take long, maybe an hour, she then says ok 3 hours, got it.

^^ Whatta dick! ^^

Perhaps a re-post. But people with no gym-ettiquette (read: Rec Center go-er's).

Dude, if you see me on a machine it means I'm using it. Don't ask to "work in" or wait until I grab a sip of water, so you can sit your fat*** on it before I turn back around.

If you see me walking down the aisle, wait your turn before you jump out and walk right into me.

If you see me going to pick up a set of weights, wait a second- see what I grab, then go grab another pair of weights *after* me. Don't dart at the same area of weights, trying to get there first.

If I'm working out with my wife and you want to be a perv and stare at her, do it when I'm not looking (i.e. on the down-low), don't sit there and stare while you're in plain sight to me.

Whoa, this is uncanny. Have you ever really googled "Down Low"....as in where the term actually came from? It's quite disturbing (recalls DP)

It's a messed up definition, "Down-Low" started off as a term for anything secretive,
then Oprah went and mucked it up by coining the term for closeted-married-gay guys...

Thanks Oprah, you and your stank Va-jay-jay.

Being suckered into (attempting to) watch the VMA's again this year. I've neglected, once again, to remember that its merely a db-fest-- full of a bunch of self righteous-talentless-morons.

Asking to "work in" is good gym ettiquette. Just need to be up front with the guy and tell him you are on a regimented rest cycle. Though if you go to a crossfit, gym, you will rarely, if ever, encounter this....
