Yeah. I learned a couple things about bagging yesterday:
1. When it seems like there aren't many people at the grocery store, just about every person that is actually there to get stuff is spending a crap load of money meaning they have a ton of stuff to be bagged. I think 4 out of my first 6 or so shoppers all spent over $100, and one more of them spent like $60.
Even though it may not seem like a ton of people at the store, it always seems as though you have to keep bouncing from lane to lane, so even when there aren't many people you're always working.
And carts:
We have no automated car pushers. Or if we do, I don't even think I'm allowed to use them since I'm not 18.
Suggestions for a job

Most people hated doing the buggies but not I. Get to just stroll around, keep my lot clean and "relax".
I used to like doing the cart rodeo, too. The only time I didn't was during winter.

I spend over $100 in a grocery store without blinking. Crap adds up quickly.
So it's been just under 6 weeks. Already seriously considering giving notice, lol.
And before you start going off saying that I should be glad I have a job or to just deal with it, I'm just gonna say I don't even need to or want to hear it lol.
The job sucks ###. Courtesy Clerks do 10x the work of everyone else in the store for the least amount of money. Just look at us compared to checkers. Checkers start at $9.13/hr. They get paid to stand there and run items over a scanner. Me on the other hand, I have to return unwanted items to the shelves, bag groceries, clean up spills and messes, get carts from the lot, condition aisles, and more. I do 10x more work for less money. The most I could possibly make would be like $7.55/hr. I know someone in starbucks is making about $10.39/hr to stand around, scoop ice, put it in a blender, add some syrups or milk, and push a button. Or push a button on a coffee maker, steam some milk, mix it together, and serve it. This job just isn't worth the hassle. Not to mention, most of the other courtesy clerks are douche bags. And about half the checkers talk down to CCs because they think they are so high and mighty. This one lady always tells me when she bags the eggs or bread or something that she has a fragile item. And she's like "CAREFUL! This is fragile stuff", even if I stare at her while she bags it. And the way she says it is so annoying. There are maybe 2 or 3 checkers that are always nice and in a good mood.

Checking isn't as easy as it looks. You're standing in one place for hours at a time, gripping one item after another and doing all sorts of damage to the nerves in your arms, hands, and wrists. My wife was a checker at Walmart for 3 years and she still has carpal tunnel issues from that job, and that was like 7 years ago now.

I "thanked" this post for truth. Put on your big boy pants and go to work. If all you're after is an easy paycheck then you're in for a live of living paycheck to paycheck and never earning anything in your life.
Most people who make a lot of money in this world have had to work very hard for it (noticed I did say most). And most of those people had shitty jobs. It builds grit, character, and a respect for your future jobs and earnings.

I get that it would be "for the better" if I kept the job. But to me, the crap I deal with from coworkers isn't worth it.
Going back to my first day, I was told that King Soopers prides itself on being a place where you can have a job and not dread having to go to work. I'm sure that a lot of people who work there feel that way, but I definitely don't. I know that when I go to work, I'm going to be dealing with people I don't want to be around for a minimum of 4 hours, usually longer. Plus, there are 2 or 3 courtesy clerks that aren't in school still. And because they all have seniority over me, they are going to get Mon-Fri off, and I'm going to be stuck working most weekdays after school even though I said I can't. I said I would work Monday and Friday after 4PM and all day Saturday. But I'm sure that everyone else also asked for most of the week off, and they have their seniority which means they won't get scheduled to work while I will. And with 4 more AP classes each semester and one honors class, that just isn't gonna work for me. I'm going to end up having to spend more time at work than at home doing homework.
For earning next to no money while putting up with all the crap every day, it's just not worth the headaches it causes to me. I'd rather not stress over school more than I already will be because of my job then make very little money while stressing even more about school and work.

I wrote this with my phone so if there is mistakes I'll fix them later. It's hard with a 3" screen.
I have had many jobs. (tile, mason, painter, electrician, usher, cashier, janitor, mechanic, sales rep, manager, warehouse stacker, roofer, and a few side jobs like computer repair) they each have their upsides and down sides. For example installing tile is fun. You almost feel like an artist when you're done. Downside it gets expensive if you mess up and let the concrete dry before you have every tile level and in it's correct position. Some customers would import tile from other countries so if broke 1 too many I would be soooo F**ked. Also pays well.
I worked for air methods. A warehouse for the centenial airport, their warehouse they stored small airplane pieces. One being a starter or part of a starter. It was in a box smaller than what laptops come in. But it weighed 70+ pounds. If I was to drop it and break it, I would be out $1,000+.
as a roofer I worked in Texas. Temp goes over 100° there during summer. The roof is even hotter and burn right through your shoes. You can't wear boots cause that could damage the shingals. I would drink 3 gallons of water a day. Have a major sun burn. Work 16+ hours a day because you HAVE to finish a house in 1 day or you can be responsible for any water damage. Most house have tree's so a crane can't put the stacks of shingles that way 50lbs each. So what do you do? Throw them up on your shoulder and climb to the roof, of a two story building.
I could go on but I think I made my point. I don't think you want to give up on one of the easiest jobs in the world. You are not responsible for expensive things. You won't have to pick up heavy stuff either. And if you do you work for a corprate they probably won't even let you pick up anything over 35lbs alone. You don't deal with rude customers. You are not responsible for accepting fake money. Which is a bigger deal than being short on the register. And like tut said. Get a better attitude or you won't be there long. Your boss already knows how you feel even though you haven't said anything. He wil also start pushing you more if you keep it up. Smile and go above and beyond for ANY job given. Take pride in your work and it will always pay you back.

So if that is the case, I'd rather quit on my own terms because I hate my job than deal with it until they decide to fire me.

I understand that jobs likely won't be fun an easy. For me, I really don't care if it's necessarily the most fun job in the world. Me, I want to be an Aerospace engineer. I could deal with crappy coworkers and horrible bosses (side note: that was a really good movie) and a bad job experience if it was something I really enjoyed doing. This, it's not fun to do. The people suck. They pay sucks. The hours suck. There is literally no redeeming quality at all about this job.

just hang on to it as long as you can stand it,
my first job was making $4.25/h at a put-put golf course, one summer of that was enough,
next was Ms. Fields Cookies, THAT was worth it just for the free food
