Just read your other reply. No left turns from Alameda to Downing. Still illegal. Now making a left onto Marion or from Marion is illegal. Going straight across Alameda on Marion is even more dangerous than making left turn onto Alameda. I hope they just move the traffic light that is in the middle of the block to Lafayette. It's stupid what they did and it will cause more traffic. Especially when school starts up again. Other than the stupid lines Alameda is finally smooth. The 8 is begging to take its weekly short drive on it tonight, maybe burn the little rubber thats left on the tires.

omg what the hell?! I thought i read that they were finally adding turn lanes from ala to downing... @#$@! And I didn't know they were converting westbound to one lane either, that makes no sense... the area is going to be even more gridlocked during rush hour... I guess one nice part is the turning lane to Lafayette, I always use that as a shortcut to get to Virginia then Downing.

Maybe I should start attending the WPA meetings to chime in on their future plans.

Can't wait to check out the fresh pavement on Monday!

ps thanks for the diagram :)

No problem. I may have the area in front of starbucks wrong but I'm sure it's one lane till the other side of downing. Might start 2 lanes WB after Marion though. I have to check again. Not like I'm driving much these days. Now that the Alameda Bridge has more than 2 lanes open traffic has lifted a little but that's partly cause it's summer too. Traffic is gonna be horrible now.

Only upside is the people that are crossing on Marion only have 2 lanes to worry about crossing instead of 4.

Went for a quick drive in the 8 around midnight. Road is better but seems really wavy to me. I tried to lay some rubber down when I came out of the ally. Not much rubber laid on the ground but I could tell where it is. And it goes to 2 lanes in front of the Starbucks. I'm gonna get pissed off at the turn only lane heading Eb. I would always stay to the right to get to my street. Now I have to merge left and go single file with everyone.

I actually do use Firefox for one thing... LogMeIn. It tends to run it the best of all the browsers. But the majority of my web browsing is done in Chrome.

When roll over in your sleep only to find out the bed ends so you wake up in the middle of the air just in time to smash your face into your nightstand as you plummet to earth.

Then wake up with a sore face and neck. FML

My comp was majorly slow and wouldn't load any webpages. Chrome fixed the speed and i could actually surf the net again. Now I can't navigate more than one page on some of the other forums I visit...and its all slow again. Firefox now seems to work better.

You know. It seems a ton of people on CL
For housing purposes are scams. I find another place that is excellent and tol to call the actual property manager but when I do they say they're all filled up yet posted a new listing on CL as of today. Seriously ?!
