The resemblance is remarkable haha! :D

It's actually fairly fun to drive, and has the best steering feedback of any FWD car I've ever driven. Overall, for an economy based commuter, I would say it's the best car in it's class ... Overall seems pretty easy to live with, and a pretty good bang for your buck.

I originally was looking at used cars, and looked into a used Mazda 3, but the prices on them just don't drop fast enough in order to justify the purchase over a new one with the incentives Mazda is giving out.

Congrats! Heheh, that is pretty much a mirroring of the thought/logic process that led me late last summer to pick up my 2010 Mazda 3S Sport 6MT. Once I got behind the wheel for a test drive, I was pretty much instantly sold. For a glorified grocery getter, it isn't bad, is it? :) Plus mostly parts-compatible with MS3, so you've got some aftermarket mod potential here with suspension/brakes, though it's really not bad from the factory. Well, the OEM tires aren't awesome, but you might as well get the 8-9K on the clock they're good for out of 'em.

Yes sir, we're in agreement, for a grocery getter, it's not that bad at all. :)

Although I have no plans on ever modifying the car, I don't like to touch my daily drivers these days. If I get the mod bug, I'll be looking towards the Miata. :)

As a matter of fact, one of these days I might pickup a M62 supercharger for the little blue roadster... ;)

Nice pick up. Even though it's a "downgrade", you can still easily view it as an upgrade simply based off the costs savings.

If you know you at all, you've already been surfing around online for parts, right? Any mod plans?

Yeah, downgrade in cars, but significant upgrade in money I get to keep monthly. :)

Actually, I seriously have no intention of modding the 3, but whenever the mod bug kicks in, I'm going to focus my efforts on the Miata. So, technically, I have been looking at mods online lol, namely the FFS M62 "coldside" supercharger... which will likely result in needing an upgraded clutch as well.

While I've went overboard on previous cars, I learned my lesson and no longer mod my daily drivers lol, the only thing I ever did to the Bimmer was flash it via AP, but always refused to mod it further. I'm really going to try to direct my mod addiction towards the car that's not my daily driver haha!

Not that it looks any different but I snapped a couple of pics of the new car tonight after work via my iPhone4 cam:

That might be pretty easy, mine will pretty much always have a car seat in the back haha!
