An uncorked rotary is loud?? NO WAY! LOL

So why did you decide to take it apart again? Did you find some problems or forget something or what?

Oh OK gotcha. Yeah sometimes it's more adventageous to see if it will even run, THEN put in the work to finish it up with the details haha.

i was sober... i think lol

but i started it to see if the s5 high impedance injectors would work with the s4 electronics.it didnt so i did some research and i just simply unplugged the resistor box. cause the the ecu was already designed to run high impedance. then BAM! fired up and ran for a good minute. til it died because of the massive vacuum leak.

now im just waiting for some remaining parts such as SAFC, apexi air filter, radiator, driveshaft and some new coilovers.

also anyone know how low ksports can go? looking for cheap coilovers since im saving up for these. probably the most baller looking coilovers you can get

those things are purdy although they probably won't look that nice for very long.

4th or 5th. i had the cusco zero 2 which were waaay to agressive on the street so i went with jic fla something still were too damn stiff. then sold those and got powered by max coilovers loved them then i saw the new powered by max pros then sold the powered by max to get cheaper coilovers. the godspeeds i got for free lol. i go through coilovers pretty quick which is pretty sad.

now im trying to get something cheaper like ksport kontrol or bc racing coilovers if i can ever find them for the fc. unless they were discontinued.

KSports can dump you pretty low. My friend had a set on his FC and they had his 7 slammed and they could even go lower. They don't handle very well, though. Shock dynos are very inconsistent. Typical Taiwanese crap.

And those coilovers only look baller...to me baller coilovers are ones that perform good, not look good (since no one can see coilovers when they're installed anyways). Ever heard of JRZ, Moton, Ohlins? Those are baller!

figured as much. i just need something to ride on everyday and still be slammed, i can care less about how they handle during heavy driving... for now. i guess ill have to install a mirror or whatever in the wheel well just for people to see the pbms LOL. and oh yea its still a all show no go project

yes motons and ohlins are pretty nice but pretty damn pricey but if i did have the cash id get the dg5, zeal or stance gr3s. gawd i wish i had cash right now LOL.

Yeah JRZ Hyperco's are around $10-$12k per set, Ohlins can run up to $15k and Moton's can top $20k for a full blown race car set of coilovers.

Really, you can get decent coilovers for $1500-$2000 if you know where to look and stay away from over-hyped JDM shit.

true but for the 1500-2000 price range it usually is over-hyped jdm shit. only if they still sold that kei office coils for the fc. i really liked those. streetable yet pretty agressive. i had them on before my black fc was totaled and they were the best bang for you buck.

but jrz, motons and ohlins arent really streetable. hell, i hated the jic coilovers cause they were too aggressive for the street. almost feels like driving on bottomed out struts at the softest setting. this was still with a load on the springs and fully broken in with about 1-1.5in drop all around

so after not updating this, my pile of shit starts, runs and amazingly idles at 750 despite the massive vacuum leaks coming from who the hell knows. i would take a video of it but just the noise itself without a downpipe kinda ####s the camera up lol. so ill just post a pic for now. no engine bay shots just to be a cock tease.

i do gotta clean the garage...
