What exactly do you mean by necessary gear? Because I brought a list of everyone coming (to the best of my knowledge everyone that said they would be coming) along with the cruise route. I don't know what else exactly I'm supposed to bring because I don't have any walkie talkies or anything.
And we pulled over once we got to US-6 as there wasn't really a good spot to pull over on that little street before then with all the traffic that was going by, but I guess some people went straight at that light and others turned to go down US-6.

Don't fret it, hindsight is always 20/20, as they say. The main thing is everyone I spoke with seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as I was. :) We're just brainstorming for ways to build up from this great experience to the next one. In truth, that many cars on that long of a route, you're starting to add so many variables things tend to dissolve into chaos if left to chance. Fortunately, nobody seemed to break down or overheat or whatever, I was just sorta mentioning things like 2-way radios and maybe more waypoints as a built-in buffer to help with known unknowns, as it were.

I personally think the most enjoyable parts were the mountain roads, I find driving on freeways kinda problematic, with traffic entering and exiting, and getting everyone on or off together, as we saw. Plus, freeways are relatively boring (aside from the irritation of traffic). There are lots of fun twisty ways up to elevation, so their main merit is simplicity and the possibility of passing slow traffic.

I did mean I-70, we were going up I-70 at 40-45. It was slow enough that some folks in the pack came over to the middle lane, and our group was essentially roadblocking traffic up from parts of CO-470 to SR-6 during the steep hill climb. I think that stretch of road should just be left off the table for cruises, probably along with the climbing bit of US-285 W of Morrison, just because it tends to be slammed hard with tourists on any given weekend. Of course CO-74 is slammed with Harleys, and High Grade Road / Lookout Mountain with cyclists. So I guess it's choose your impediment. :)

Was a good and fun cruise! Really enjoyed our "mini" cruise a few of us took from Black Hawk down to Boulder. As Ron said, we got really lucky down Canyon with how little traffic there was!

I look forward to all the videos and photos people took. Thanks for a good cruise guys and gals!

Today was definitely one to remember. I single handedly represented 50% of the V8 group 100% of the supercharged group, the truck group, and the domestics. It was good rolling with you all today I will be trying to come to more of these this was fun.

Sorry I had to leave early. I had already planned to go to a band's show downtown so I had to leave. Next time I will be in for the entire cruise. It was fun meeting everyone.

I need to finish uploading the other two parts of it, think I'll just keep the original audio intact.
