Turn out to be a great drive with some awesome views and nice turns. There was about a 3-4 mile stretch where we had no one in front of us coming down Boulder Canyon where we were able to get some great turns through the canyon.
I really would have loved to have gone that way as it looked like a really fun drive, but I had no idea where I was up in Central City/Black Hawk. Maybe another time we can just do a fun run up 119 a bit and back down one afternoon.

I Had fun as well
It went well considering the confusion of the route and that traffic. All n all I think everyone made the best of it and enjoyed the driving. It was cool driving a line of 30+ Mazdas up and down Lookout Mtn. Theres alot of activity on that road on weekends, I hope we didn't piss off to many people.
My fb held up well since I don't drive like that for more than a few minutes. Goldengate canyon rd was a pretty spirited drive and in a 28yr old car I was happy with the performance. Nothing broke

Blame Christi on that one
She called literally as soon as I was on the on ramp (not the highway, just the on ramp) telling me to slow down
So I went nice and slowwww

She said you were going too fast, but fast literally is driving 20mph over the posted speed limit.

I think you mean C-470 chromal
Apparently I wasn't going slow enough getting onto the highway, even though there is only room for so many cars to line up in that turn lane before we would be backed up into the parking lot still
I wasn't waiting long enough for everyone to get caught up, even though I waited until there at least like 10 cars behind me in the turn lane to turn.

That's where the 2-way radios come in handy, talk to the last guy or middle guy and use visual reference points. Print out at least 20 copies of the cruise route to hand out so members don't get lost. If they do, they can use that for a guide, along with a physical address at the end and between the cruise for breaks. Some people have GPS just in case.

I think walkie talkies would have helped today
Except, nobody ended up bringing some. We'll have to see if anyone actually brings them for next time. And yeah, I think it would be great if everyone had the route printed out with them and know exactly where they are going, but it doesn't become as much of an issue until we get like 20+ people like today as well.

I have a few ideas for next cruise. However I had fun on this one. It sucks we got split up though, but it happens. We had a lot of cars, and really hard to tell what's going on... and all.
Also, if we lose people on the next one, please pull over, and just wait.. don't keep driving.
My photos will come up tomorrow, I'm exhausted, and my drive home was... lonely haha. I started falling asleep. Anyway had fun, hope to see you guys in July for the next one! (or the BBQ)
