So there's a serious problem with the route.
Part of Golden gate canyon rd, which becomes Crawford Gulch/Drew Hill rd is unpaved.
Seeing how most of us don't have awd or run rally tires (I don't even have my skid plate installed any more) a route change should be in order.
However I haven't checked the southern side of GGC rd and it might be fully paved all the way up to the intersection with 119.
If I have time tomorrow after jury duty I'll check it out and report back.

I didn't notice that! Thanks for the heads up!
And Boulder it is!

I've changed the route on google. We still start at the Home Depot, then cruise up C-470 to I-70 over lookout mountain, then up US-6 to CO-119, and then take CO-119 all the way to Boulder.

Weather is looking decent for the cruise. Sunny and about 60 in Denver and Boulder with about a 20-30% chance of rain along the route. Looks like the best day for weather for the next 10 days along the route. Hopefully it will improve!

First off, it's rotary (and should, not "shud"), spell it right. Don't you have a rod to go throw or a turbo to start smoking anyways

I can probably make it, might have a job interview, not sure yet. Since the route changed to come back up towards Boulder it makes easier for me to go.

there is so many things wrong with this post.

1st. I think you meant unreliable.
2nd. The stereotype of rotary cars is the engine, not the owners
3rd. Really?
4th.

I can likely go. In fact I will go unless something unexpected comes up.

First off, wtf kind of tool corrects grammar on the god damned internet? and second shut the hell up and cool it cuz i was just dickin around and third since u wanna make an issue out of it, u "rotary" guys tend to flake out on a lot of meets. Feel free to either fix ur shit or buy something tht works. Whats funny is i didnt really give 2 shits about u guys coming cuz im sure u have ur reasons except for the fact tht id love to see ur cars in action cuz im a big fan of rx-7's and other such "rotarys"......clearly no forum is asshole free
