You're running a MBC on an AP setup? That makes no sense. Dude, just email me your map and I'll check the launch control settings and see if that's all it is. I'll PM you my email address.

eric i messaged back i havent been on here alot lately but im not to good with the software terrible with computers and paul i am lost ive been going through the car but i might take it to revo or something to do a boost leak test also just incase...maybe my intercooler needs to be flushed also since the old turbo was bad and maybe put extra oil in the fmic

I don't think either of those things would result in the problem you are having. A boost leak would have no effect on your rpms and neither would oil in the FMIC. If I can borrow your AP I can hook it up to my computer and check it out.

we could work something out but now that i think about it since the boost solenoid is off you have ot use the manual boost controller to raise the boost so it goes back to around stock automatically...but whats bugging me is the struggles with the rpms...i switched the map and it struggles somewhat going to the rev limit, but all my fuel trims seem to be normal and their is no kr maybe just go get a retune and try that have no clue

If you haven't reflashed the car recently it's unlikely there is a problem with the tune per se.
One of the first things I would check is your MAF, if it's overly dirty or damaged, you might run into an issue like this. You could try cleaning it, or better yet, if someone local to you has a MS3/MS6/car with same MAF, try swapping MAF's with them, and see if the issue is resolved.
Good luck.
@erod555: It's actually pretty common to run a MBC, even on modern turbo cars. EVO & STI guys do it all the time, as MBC's typically yield more consistent results and more instantaneous boost response. An electronic BCS is typically great for helping to give a car turbo a more linear throttle feel (doesn't feel like as much of an on/off switch as running a MBC), as well as for tuning partial throttle, and inducing additional safety measures like boost cut under undesirable conditions (i.e. heavy knock or over-boost), but when it comes to hitting & holding a desired boost pressure consistently, nothing beats a simple ball & spring MBC. For reference, in the Subie world, there are numerous 2-port & 3-port BCS' available, as well as a plethora of aftermarket (read: standalone) EBC's, but the fastest stock turbo STI's ALL use simple Hallman MBC's.
