I was waiting for someone to put the two together. Sounds like a great idea for those who get their projects finished.

How late do you guys think you'll be going on Saturday? I really need to replace the motor mounts in my Miata but I don't get off work until 5:30pm. Sorry if I missed it earlier in the thread but do you have an engine hoist? I've been trying to avoid doing the support the engine by a block of wood on a jack under the oil pan method.

Yes I have a hoist. We can go as late as needed, and are planning Sunday as well, if that works better.

I won't be in Denver on Sunday so I'd prefer to do it Saturday when I'll already be up here for work. I don't want to inconvenience you all evening though if everyone else is going to be gone earlier than 6ish. I may see if I can leave work a couple hours early.

You can call mid day and we should have a feel for how things are going. If you can get off a couple hours earlier then it would be no problem at all.

That's ok, don't need food. Just need my engine and transmission to stay put and stop wobbling around hehe.

Any chance anyone would want to help out with a lower control arm bushing install on a BMW during this time? I know it's a Mazda thing, but I thought I'd ask.

That shouldn't be a problem, I just am not sure what kind of tools we need (and if I have them or can build them). Is there a thread about the job you could point me toward?

When I did my bushings I used various sizes of sockets and a vise. If you have large sockets and a vise we should be good to go.

I'm noticing a lot of projects for these two days, I wonder how much we can get through haha. One thing we don't want to do is rush a project just to make sure we get it done, and then it ends up getting done incorrectly or we miss a small detail that will turn out to be major. Maybe we need quality assurance on site too...oh hey, I'm going to my the only QA person in my unit, this can be some good practice haha. Seriously though, I think it's important to remember not to rush through jobs just to get them done. We don't want anyone getting hurt. I guess if we have enough people there though it shouldn't be much of a problem.

Also, what do I need to bring as far as food?
