Ok, so a friend of mine we will call “Kathy” (cause that’s her name) went to Jiffy Lube for oil and wipers. The wiper -driver's side-came flying off within a block or two and they screwed around with the thing until the driver’s side wiper would not even work (lesson learned).

She then went to Hayes Automotive and got a quote of $450.00 for a new wiper “transmission” which I didn’t even know existed. She freaked out at that (and of course Jiffy Lube denied everything) so she called me.

I called Andrea (sp?) and spoke with her first then John and Mike at Courtesy Mazda personally as I was there getting stuff done to the 3. They agreed to look at the car (a Saturn Ion). Long story short- they checked it out yesterday and about 90 minutes and $120.00 later (I think 80.00 was parts) she is back on the road. So……………

Thanks to Courtesy Mazda for treating people right and most importantly- fairly. I recommend them, have been taking my car there for two years and will continue to do so.

Good to hear you got it sorted. It was just a plastic linkage that broke so I have no idea why the original shop quoted you $450. That's a shop trying to take someone for a ride.

Well actually, the first person I met there that treated me well was you...That was really the foundation and/or basis for the the business relationship we have today.
