New FD in Town!

So got a badass deal on a couple of Streetported Housings with less than 10k on them for $800, couldn't let them pass. Because i haven't open my motor yet i don't know the conditions that my housings are currently are, so i went and bought both of them just to be on the safe side, is always good to have extra housings

You weren't kidding man those look to be in GREAT shape!

When we crack your motor open, if you your housings are in good condition I might just have to buy them off you.

Speaking of housings, I'm not sure if you guys are aware but there are two companies making housings a pretty big deal. One company, Goopy Performance, is able to machine the housings as you would resurface an iron, so they are reusable but ultimately still expendable at some point. Goopy charges $125 FOR THE PAIR.

The other company, NRS, actually adds material back onto the surface (re-chroming actually) so that they will be able to be used over and over. IIRC though, they aren't providing this as a service yet because they can't get funding or something.

I read about both of these on RCC. Just thought you guys would like to know, I was pretty excited about it haha.

^Really? I will look into that. I've heard of NRS (they makes ceramic seals) but never Goopy Performance. Googling right now

Just bought a pair of ID2000, 47mm Tial BOV and Greddy Elbow tapped for water injection. Next ID725 and ALS seals (whenever they are ready to ship)

I have the ID injectors now too. I like them. Don't have to use a driver or resistors, which is WIN.

What setup u got? im debating on id750 or id1000 for primaries

How much power are you looking for Eduardo? If you run the ID2000 secondaries I would just get the 725 primaries, saves you a few bucks. Unless you're running E85 or shooting for over 600rwhp you don't need the 1000's.

Like Dave said, just get the 725 primaries if you're not going for crazy power. That's what I have, 725 primary 2000 secondary. It's a tad bit simpler to tune (I think you only have to change 1 or 2 things for the 1000cc).
