Ok..try to keep up

A1994 mustang GT that came from Canada currently shows 325,000km on the odometer..

At 195,000km, the rear end was upgraded from 3.23 to 3.73 gears.

Currently, when the speedo is at 110km (about 68mph), I am only going 50mph.

The gritty:
How many MILES are actually on the car?

I got 180,563.157 miles

195000 km = 121167.382 mi

325000 km - 195000 km = 130000 km

130000 km = 80778.254 mi

50 mph / 68 mph = 0.7352941176470588 ratio

80778.254 mi * 0.7352941176470588 ratio = 59395.775 mi

59395.775 mi + 121167.382 original mi = 180563.157 mi

Eclipse Tint is 1415 KM south of Coutts Canada. There were two reasons I cut my math classes in high school, one because my school was 5 blocks from a Southern California beach, and the girls in swimsuits were way better than any teacher and third I never did that well when I attended math class.

I used 110kph vs 50mph rather than 68mph. We were given the exact number of 110kph which is more accurate than "about 68mph." 50mph = 80.4672 kph, which is 0.73152 of 110kph. Rest of the math is the same as Batman's.

does it matter that the speed is off more the faster I go, and vice versa?

I don't believe so. The relationship between miles and kilometers is a linear relationship (no parabolic increase, direct relationship, 1mph ~ 1.6 kmh).

No, the speedo is going to be off by about 27% (26.848% by my calculations) at any speed.

27% of 30mph = 8.1mph off
27% of 75mph = 20.25mph off

Still same percentage. Same thing if you use a tire size that's different than the stock size, though that's usually more like 3% not 30%, lol.

This site has a bunch of gears you can use to replace the gear on the transmission end of the speedo cable to fix it. They cost $9.99 if you can find the right one. I don't see an application for 3.73 gears on a '94, but you could try calling them and get the right one.

lol i was going to say something similar but my version was:
