Well, I dropped my header off today to get ceramic coated at Premier Coatings in Sheridan. He said that because the part is used, getting all of the built up carbon on the inside of it out will be challenging- but they will do their best.

Here's the header before (after 13-14 months of use):

Should be ready in about a week.

I was under the impression this was just for the exterior, you are having the interior coated as well,
once they clean it up?

An insulation coating goes on the inside and a ceramic coating goes on the outside.

$150 for the job. Jet-Hot quoted my $165 + s&h. The guy at Premiere said that there are only 2 companies in the country that actually produce these coatings and everyone just buys them and applies them. Jet-Hot is just a large version of this company that has done a better job marketing their name. Otherwise, the end result should be identical.

Premier Coatings

They will do any part.

They are in the process of moving shop locations. He told me where to, but I can't remember. They will probably be in this location at least through this week though.

And a little FYI- this shop is not set up to take credit/debit cards. So when you pick it up, bring a check or cash.
