Yeah I would think a regular 300C would have no chance of keeping up just from the weight of the car, and then the fact that a big body like that was even trying to race an MS6 of course induces the regular LOL factor.

I'd bet he's a debadged SRT model. The regular 300C weighs 4200 lbs and puts out what, 340HP at sea level? Either that or he wasn't stock.

Heheh I didn't think this challenge would stir up any debate, so let me clarify some things. When he took off I had just shifted into 3rd gear and by the time I got back into 2nd gear he had a little more than his entire car ahead of mine. Its difficult to make up for the speed & distance when they get the jump on ya.

Oh and my BOV has been acting up lately, it sounded like it wasn't holding boost pressure at all.. And when I took it apart today, I noticed that the spring inside of it was broken in half. /end ricer excuse

Had an HKS also. Didn't like it on recirc. Couldn't get past the flutter sound always making me paranoid, even though I knew it was normal for that BOV.

I've had a couple different bov in my early years, I was never satisfied with anything until I put the ssq on, I will never run anything else.

If I could run VTA, I'd still be running the SSQV.

Same thing happened to my synapse, pulled the spring, put it back together, and its ran perfectly fine ever since then. Done and done.

I was merging onto the highway this morning at one of those onramp lights.
A late model SI (previous generation hatch) rolls up next to me. The light turns green and before I can blink she's 2 car lengths in front of me. I quickly shift in to "D" and floor it. Nothing happens. FUuuuuu. pretty much a true story. ugh.

shed all the weight from luxuries (ie leather, nav, sunroof, auto tranny, etc) and it has the potential to be decent. It's kinda slow for its time
and even moreso by today's standards. Life's a race and I'm in last place. ;)

I know this isn't really a "challenge" but yesterday on my way to work there was a Tundra V8 driving all crazy from light to light. So, I got behind him at the next light and he took off when it turned green I followed behind and when I had room, I changed lanes and just flew pass him... he slowed down after that.
