A C5 Z06...not bad. You wouldn't want to daily drive that, especially when the snow and ice hits.

Sweet! Hahaha. You've got a jeep for the winter, right?

Yeah, we have the Grand Cherokee for bad weather. But right now, my boys drive that. So this kind of toy will have to wait until they no longer need the Jeep regularly. :)

C5 interiors are about on par with a Cavalier. It would be a HUGE interior downgrade from your MS6. But it would be a fun car no doubt.

^True story, they're just for going fast. Throw some twin turbos on there or a 200-shot of nitrous and hit Bandimere.

That's all right. No plans to dump the MS6 until our kid situation changes a bit or I can get more in trade than I owe on the loan.

Buying a `Vette for interior quality, is like buying a sportbike for wind protection... In the right hands, that car would smash nearly everything out on the road. It would rape an MS6, that's for sure; even a tuned one.

A few dollars in suspension bits, and you have an out of the box roadrace car. You know.... Assuming that 30k into it, the engine hasn't been abused.

^A "few dollars" in suspension bits or $10k in Motons and R-comps? Corvettes are setup, like most factory rear-wheel drive cars, to oversteer BAD and well before it's limit.

Granted, you don't need competition level Motons, but a quality set of coilovers (not some JDM hype tubes with 15kg/in springs, apparently the Japanese suspension tuning philosophy is stiffer is better, no matter what, but i digress), some wide CCW's and fat Hoosier R6's should make you quicker than most.

Vettes can be pretty stupid quick, but their reputation is tarnished because they're mostly babied by near-retirement overweight old men trying to "recapture their essence" who never take the LS6 past 4000rpm

That's another reason I won't buy one now. If I do someday, I want the money to mod it and track it whenever I want. Having kids out of the house will make that MUCH easier.

If I'm daily driving a car, Vette or not, I would like to at least like the interior too. I drove a quick car with a shitty interior (SRT-4) for 4 years. Now I want to go fast and also enjoy the interior of the car when I'm not going fast. Luckily, the C6 is majorly improved in that department so that's what I would like to eventually get. Or a CTS-V lol.

What am I saying? The new STi has a crap interior and I would rock one of those in a heartbeat.
