Stetson Hills SWAT Activity

Postby Stealth01 » Wed Dec 01, 2010 9:14

Just a heads up, CMZCers -- SWAT and CSPD are all OVER Indigo Ranch at Stetson Hills right now. WHole portion of that neighborhood (my neighborhood) blocked off...SWAT looking inside someone's back yard. Crazy.

UPDATE: News just told me it was a dude threatening suicide. Cops found him wounded inside when they entered. He was scheduled to go to court for something today.

UPDATE: News now tells me that they did NOT find anyone inside, and were looking for the dude. That was about 20 minutes ago. Neighbors tell me the cops are gone now.

Yeah, I think we have a lot of people living outside their means here in this neighborhood, and ppl with variable rate mortgages. And financial problems are killer.

So in our little neighborhood, in the last 2 years, we've had a murder and a suicide. And numerous other minor crimes and dramas. Ugh.

Just keep that crap up north with you. The most I have to worry about in my neighborhood is my neighbors dumb kids leaving their crap in my yard.

Luckily I live in Arvada. 2nd safest city in CO and like 63rd in the country. We also just had a handful of Arvada cops resign/fired for using excessive force which was said to be part of the "culture" in the Arvada PD...guess you can't have one without the other.
