Tell you what- let's trade cars this winter. I'll buy some 16" winter wheels and tires for your car and report back to you in April! [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/338567b8.gif[/img]

And for you Speed 3/6 guys wanting to know if 16" wheels will clear your brakes (even though Tire Rack says they will), I have the factory 16" wheels in my garage that can be used for a test fit. Finding a set of used 16" wheels on the forums is pretty easy to do and usually they are pretty cheap.

Let me know if anyone wants to do a test fit.

Sure you can test fit them- and my car is 5x114.3. The wheels actually have 2 bolt patterns. I'm not sure what the other one is off hand.

so if you are putting on your snows, then I can "borrow" the RSV's for the winter right? see how they hold up? [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img]

seriously tho, I would love to see how they look on my car make sure they clear the brakes, no rubbing and where the offset is.

Nice try. But no. The wheels have been through one snow storm when I got caught out in a snow storm in an early spring in Kansas. And the tires I have on there now, Tire Rack doesn't recommend using them in cold dry weather, let alone snow.

I'd perfer to do the test fit after I put on the winter wheels. We can put on all 4 so you can get a good idea before you buy.

two houses down and park it in my garage [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif[/img] actually I am not quite that close...
