Mazda SEMA 2010 showcase

Postby chromal » Thu Nov 04, 2010 9:14

I read about this over at Jalopnik. Mazda showcased some aftermarket-modded cars, including a 500 hp mazdaspeed3, a 230hp mx-5, a turbocharged 2.5l mazda3 sedan, and other fun stuff (details link at bottom)... I wonder if they had to do an engine build up to turbo the 2.5l MZR to 10 PSI boost and make "well over 250hp"...

The Miata is definitely my favorite out of that group of cars.

It looks like that miata wouldn't be all that hard to build.

2010+ silver Mata with appearance package, some black and orage paint accents, new wheels and tires, carbon fiber hard top, roll bar.

here is the supercarger:

looks like that second link, the ecu flash, comes with the purchase of the supercharger kit. I just wonder what else could be done to the car after that tho...

not really sure. You really don't need to do anything beyond that performance wise. I would do suspension and brakes and that would be it.

I'd do full exhaust rather than just the muffler. But yea, NCs can be made to be quick. Do those fender flares come with the appearance package?
