Wish there was a Buffalo Wild Wings closer though. Closest one is about 10 miles.

So, some douche (who shall remain un-named [6i]) recommended I go to CB & Potts for a good burger. So I did:rolleyes:.

Had the Stadium Burger; medium well. It came out with a thin pink center. Burger was juicy (read: greasy), similar to that of Champps. The flavor was decent. Overall, I score the burger with 7 out of 10 points. Fries were also decent. Not too salty, not too soggy...but not necessarily crispy (enough for my liking).

The experience was good though. Service was good, and of course- the beer was good (the main reason for going there in the first place.)

It wasn't a total waste- and for that...I would recommend it to any looking for a "safe" bet. Meaning, you can expect it to be decent; not overly good, but not a poor burger either. For those seeking a more adventurous burger...I'm still looking-

Check out Ted's Montana Grill in Aspen Grove. They have a bunch of burgers on the menu along and all can be had with either beef or bison.

They like their burgers alot there, so expect to pay more than usual for them. But, overall I like them better than C.B. & Potts.

Interesting Bobopud. The wife wanted to go there awhile ago, but we never pulled the trigger.

Blasphemy.

In-N-Out is an institution to people from L.A. or Cali in general. There really sin't anything better than a Double Double with grilled onions and a pink lemonade. Sure, it doesn't compare to a sit down burger joint, but it puts all other fast food burgers to shame. The fries are fresh cut and usually are not greasy. The burger is made fresh along with everything else that goes on the burger.

Maybe you just need to grow up eating at In-N-Out to appreciate it. I have tried to convince them to open a store in Colorado. They don't do franchises, otherwise there would be In-N-Outs all over the place, especially with the number of people that have relocated here from Cali. However, In-N-Out did tell me that they are currently investigating the logistics and possible locations for opening one here in the Denver area.

I decided to not give up on In 'n Out just yet. As such, I continued my quest and re-visited them (not once, but twice in fact)...taking your advice and ordering a double-double, with onions and fries.

My first visit was absolutely delicious. The burger was great, a bit salty- but great. Fries weren't all sopping with grease (as they were in Cali). I ate one double-double and wanted another. Had it not been for the 40g of fat 'price tag', I would have....

The second visit was good too. Not as good as the first, but better than your average drive thru burger joint-- again, I had a double-double with onions...no pink lemonade tho, sorry:mellow:

First impression of the place is how small it is... I mean really small-- like an old school diner small. Couple that with how closely the tables are placed (which is understandable) and there you have it. Me being semi-claustrophobic, this was something I had to learn to deal with quickly.

First glance at the menu revealed a small, but very unique selection. Its one page, offering a half dozen or so appetizers (every one looking delicious) and five or so entrees; which are all noodle bowls. Dessert consists of homemade soft-serve ice cream, mmmm.

Onto the meal... Had the suckling pig dumplings for an appetizer. Upon reading reviews, these seemed to be most popular. Although tempted to try the Alaskan Cod Tempura as well, after seeing another table order them. Alas, the dumplings were wonderful. Small pieces of what I would equate to smoked pig over a taco shell shaped breading...with a hoisen-type bbq sauce. Three came on a plate-- I could have easily eaten nine of them, paid the tab, and called it good.

We chose a pork shoulder with poached egg bowl (which was a spicy/ginger type base, with a nice serving of pork shoulder, and thick-style noodles.) The noodles had the same texture/taste as dumplings...they were great. We also had a lobster-miso bowl, with thin/ramen-style noodles (which was a buttery/creamy base).

Dessert was great. Granted it was simple...just soft serve ice cream is all. But sometimes simplicity is all you need to put the cap on a great meal.

If you're in the mood for something out of the norm (Asian fusion) this is a great spot to try. As long as you can deal with the small space of course. Price was also reasonable for the quality of food you get. An app, two adult beverages, two entrees, and dessert...with tip, was under $80.

Update: The misses said that she wouldn't necessarily go back.

My take: If you lived near there, it would be a cool spot to stop in, have a drink and an app. Otherwise, I couldn't see it being a frequented place for dinner. That said, it was a cool place to try and a fun experience. The food's just a bit different, and therefore not something you'd crave on a regular basis.

Correct- its no Saj. I could eat Saj twice a week and still keep going back.

If you were picking between Bones and Mizuna, I'd go Mizuna 100%. A bit more expensive, but a great place for a special occassion...
