Yea living without bread or potatoes would be rough. (sorry to jump into the middle of you guys' conversation).
I had gotten the P90X videos a while back and did like one workout but didn't stick to it lol. I have a friend who did it before doing a body building competition and he raves about it. I don't think I have the discipline to stick with it though. :\

Here's a few "fine dining" type places.....
If you're looking to take your lady somewhere nice, here's two excellent places to go. Oddly enough, they kind of remind me of each other. Both very small, high quality, and expensive.
Cafe Terracotta: http://www.cafeterracottalittleton.com/menu.htm
This little gem is buried in Downtown Littleton, in a little house. There's all of maybe a dozen tables. This place was superb.
We started off with the beef skewers for an app. The beef literally melted in your mouth. I could've eaten 5 orders of these.
We had the mahi and chips and the walleye for the main course. Both were great. The mahi and chips was a fresh-take on the classic deep fried duo. Only it was very lightly fried and the chips were circular potatos, with a nice seasoning....along with a homemade tartar sauce, mmmm.
The walleye was nicely cooked, and went well with all the ingredients- however, I can't say as I like walleye to begin with. I think I've had it once in the past and didn't like it, but wanted to try it one more time. If I were to like the taste of the fish, this would've been excellent as well.
Lastly, the cream bru le was tha BEST. We shared it, but on second thought, probably should of gotten our own. It was probably swimming in fat, but was definitely worth it.
Mizuna: http://mizunadenver.com/
Similar to Cafe Terracotta, this place is pretty small and serves very good food. However, its a bit more "up-itty". For one, they made me feel inadequate for not ordering wine (like everyone else). If I had ordered it, they probably would've thought I was a noob for not swirling it around and sniffing it all night. Also, they pack the tables pretty close together and you can basically hear everyone else's conversations.
Other than those two downfalls, everything was great. I had some of the best Sea Bass there. It was so good, that I can't even remember what else I ate (salad and dessert I believe.) The Misses had monk fish. Kind of like the walleye, I just didn't like the taste of the fish itself. Nothing wrong with the dish (she actually loved it), just my personal preference.

This thread is awesome! I used to live in CA where real Mexican food is plentiful, but i think from the few mexican resturants i have been to out here that i sort like, my favorites so far are 3 margaritas and On the Border.

I was just gonna say. 3 Margarits is pretty good. They changed their menue from what it was like a year ago. Food is sooo much better now. It's not just another Blue Bonnet.

From being in the restaurant buisness I think that is a little steep but fair aswell. Not sure what their prices are but if you look at it from our veiw,....... in order to keep the prices where they are we need to keep making money. The money from that food has to go to bills, employees, and ordering more food to stay open and keep customers coming. How can we do that if everytime 2 people split something that costs them $7.27? We don't charge to split things because it hasn't gotten outta hand but I can see it happening if it gets outta hand.
So if every couple that came in split things restaurants wouldn't exist. Half their money they made would be gone. Instead of $1400/day they'd only be raking in $700. The only way to stay open would be to price the $7.27 (tax included) burrito to $14.54.

OMG... This made me laugh! I usually order wine... then wonder if I should have food. But I'm an old wine snob.
Gabriels is awesome. That's all I got to say about dat!

And this is definately location dependant... like an Acapulco in CA. It depends on which location you go to at what time and day!

Jeez... I get pissed off if I'm spending more than $10 for dinner. Sad day being a college student
We eat the cheapest thing we can find and usually drink the same way... Unless your roommates happened to be employees of Budweiser and 4 free cases of beer "miraculously" showed up every month.
Some of my favorite places up in FC have to be:
Sri Thai: Fantastic Thai food, great on the spice and it isn't TOO expensive. Nice first date place that won't truly break the bank.
Yum Yum Cafe: Great Gyros for six bucks. The family that owns it is Lebanese and they have a juice bar attached. Just as for the Hurricane on your 21st
Moe's BBQ: Great fried green tomatoes and good pulled pork too.
Little Saigon: Authentic Vietnamese food. I can get an appetizer and a main course for less than $12.
I'm sure I'm forgetting some but those are my faves
