iani1.1 wrote:thats what i wanna know. he was asking something about the airpump on another thread im just wondering lol

see here's the thing about the exhaust, i wanted the re diffuser but i would need dual fart cans to make the car look atleast good in the rear but i dont like fart can style exhausts. also i didnt think it would flow with the kit i wanted.

but yea it should be done by mid august with new paint and everything. just gotta get tylers fc out of my garage. its done i just need an ecu to actually drive it.

edit: oh yea i also dont wanna go too low so i dont end up doing this on the way home lol

That's why I was asking too lol.

So do the boso style exhausts have a muffler at all or is it just straight pipe all the way back?

I can't wait to see Tyler in his Turbo FC, he's gonna lose his mind LOL. Have you looked on RCC for the ECU?

Yeah that's a bit low, it would help if he had a good back tire on there still though lol.

chickenwafer wrote:I just meant it's hard to go low without compromising the performance (depending on your wheel/tire setup).

Don't you know? You only improve performance the lower you go, so slam it to the ground! That's what a lot of guys in 7club believe anyway LOL.

iani1.1 wrote:alright so i messed with photoshop for a little bit before work so heres a paint scheme im aiming for.

the black is what is gonna stay untouched the rest will be painted white. i think matte white with a touch of black gloss should look pretty damn good. i know the design is played out but its the best looking by far compared to the others, also its simple.

as for the wheels im thinking about painting them white as well. dont know yet til i actually get the wheels. but those are the exact ones im getting, they look like regamasters dont they? lol

its still an un kitted pic. if i can get away without a kit i might not put one on. maybe just a lip, t2 skirts and a rear diffuser

I like that paint scheme. And I do think the wheels look a bit like Regamasters too, with a lot of lip. I think they'd look good if you didn't paint them too though.

theres different types of exhaust setups for the boso style, its pretty much no can just straight pipe lol. but ill still have a cat and all that cause a straight piped non turbo is just ridiciously loud lol ie. tylers old exhaust setup

i havent posted on rcc only on 7club and teamfc3s. yea tylers already trying to hold himself back lol. its abut 90% done just waiting for the simple stuff to get here like radiator hoses, gaskets and what not.

well we'll see when i get my wheels tomorrow, if im satisfied by what i see ill keep them as is.

Yeah, Tyler's car was ridiculously loud before...although I'm not really one to talk LOL. But I AM trying to make it quieter lol. I know he MUST be excited.

Someone on RCC might have what you're looking for, wouldn't hurt to check. Seems like there are a lot of guys selling FC stuff right now. I got a wiring harness for $65 for the NA FC my Dad just got. I think he might have had a TII ECU too, I don't remember. I was looking on Pandagarage the other night and they had one too I think.

Those are nice wheels for $129, wow! Can't wait to see it finished.

Have you looked on eBay too? I hate buying stuff like ECUs off there, especially after what just happened to Dave, but it might be a good place to look.

Alright cool, I'm gonna buy some of those for my TII now too LOL. Actually I've been talking to this guy about the Panasport G7s he's selling (YUMMY, I've always loved those wheels) and I was going to put them on the TII since they wouldn't really fit right on the FD anymore, but he wants around $2000 and he's in The Netherlands. However, if I wasn't already buying a set of wheels I would SOOO be on those. I actually thought about halting my current purchase to get them since they are so hard to find, but I'm gonna go through with what I was already planning haha.

/threadjack. Sorry lol.

and yes it will be that low, only during hard parking lol

That kit is MSports not BN, my cars have bn and it's about an inch lower than the msports/gp sports/origin stuff.

BN with 18's:

If you do the boso style exhaust let me know, I can show you/tell you how to modify the rear bumper so it looks like this and you can fit the boso pipes in one hole, my car has dual 4" pipes side by side for reference

LOL, is that just an empty keg?

Hard to get a good frame of reference for the turbo, but I'm guessing a Borg Warner S400 series?

Yep, I figured it was the S475. What turbine housing? Divided 1.06?

I am looking at doing a BW S366XL with the ported race cover for my single snail....or a twin scroll Precision Billet 6765...sooo sick

ok so i got the front rims delivered to my work this morning and the tires mounted. i snapped a pic during lunch. ill have more tomorrow on my day off. i havent lowered it yet so dont mind that fugly wheel gap. i should have gone with the 40 series tires dammit lol but w/e im satisfied for now

i thought i would need spacers to clear it but by the looks of it, it doesnt look soo bad. i might need spacers once its lower. also im looking into some widebody fenders for a more flushed look.

my turbine housing is 1.32. the twin scroll PB is just gross. ive seen an fd with it at rotary performance in dallas and all you can really hear is "pssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssst" the whole time that thing was idling, hell it was almost as loud as the exhaust lol

I meant if you want to modify the rear bumper so its not all stupid and just cut out I can show you/tell you how like I did with mine. All you would have to do is duplicate what I did on both sides
