Came across a '98-'02 Camaro SS today. He definitely had aftermarket exhaust with a bumper I hadn't seen before that had four tips all in the center. No idea if he had anything else done. I was behind him at a double left turn and when the light turned green he went for it. He didn't wait up for me before we completed the turn but he didn't have to. Even though I started about 3 cars behind him, I caught up and put about a car on him before I had to slow down for an old lady going about 15 under in my lane. Didn't want to cut it close trying to get in front of the Camaro though I probably had room. His car did sound good though.

Quick funny story about how i guess i was supposed to race a BMW X5...?

Just picked up some Chick-fil-a (mmm) and was cruising home to eat the deliciousness. Came up to a light next to a BMW X5. Noticed the guy kept looking at me and just ignored him. Light turns green and he flys off the line with that V8 singing a beautiful song. I on the other hand had the O_o face since i didn't understand. Putted along to the next light with him caught at the red light. I'm in the number one lane, he in the number three. He looks over with a smirk as if he put me in my place (he thinks he raced me, lol) i just laughed and at the same time noticed a gleam of red in my rear view. A Ferrari 430 Spider coming up in the number two lane. He stops between us and i see the X5 drives face go from a smile to defeat. He looks at me and i say, "Think you're faster than that?" and laugh. End of story. lol. Moral of the story, i guess i was beat down by a BMW X5 that i didn't know i was "racing" lol

is it gold/tan with cammie on the front?? if so that guy is in the unit next to me and thinks hes hotshit, he was talking shit about my car at one show...

It was a two-tone paint job. I think it was like gold & black but I didn't see much more than the back end because I was paying attention to my own driving and didn't see the front of the car because when I had to slow down because of the lady in my lane he kept on going and went weaving through traffic up ahead. There were three lanes and he could have gotten over instead of pinning me behind that lady but I think he was butthurt that he got run down by an import lol.

I didnt know we had a thread like this! The other driving home i was alone at a light and i toyota celica all deck out with a body kit and exhaust pulled up next to me. I try not to get in trouble so i took of at a normal pace and he stayed right beside me trying to get me to go. At the next stop light I hit it from the light and heard him get on it (loud fart box). I keep pulling on him though as was watching him in my side mirror. I slowed down once i was at the speed limit cuz i had to turn up the street a little, but he flew by me going as fast as he could. It really suprised me his car couldnt hang with my little 2.0 liter. It made my day haha

The other morning before the KBPI show driving down 6th Ave a Older STI or Evo VIII Black pulled up beside me out of nowhere. (I was in the far left and he was in the right lane.) Well it seemed like nowhere cause I was the only one on the highway at 5:45 a.m. (I was dead tired and didn't have my eyes in so couldn't really tell which car it was.) Well he rolled his window down and motioned to race. I nodded my head no cause I knew I'd probably lose. Well he motioned again and I dropped into 3rd doing 60 and went for it. We were pretty even for a short bit. The guy hit his rev limiter and well he switched gears and was out of site. I mean he blasted out of there. That is not what I was expecting at all. It was as if I were sitting still. That car must be runing the quarter in the 10s or something.

I doubt that. This thing was rediculous. Let me explain it like this.

His car currently is to my car; What my car currently is to a Geo.

I know that after the boost issue I'll have no problem walking away from the SS Comaro that my brother stayed dead even with. (with me and his wife in the car. My brother and I add over 440lbs together.) But not that STI/Evo Monster.

WTF is it with 4x4 redneck trucks trying to race me.

The other day I had some people in a late 90's tahoe with flowmasters try and race me on the interstate. They tried to get my attention then hit the gas and it went into passing gear lol. I bet they though they were cool. I was thinking if I had an undercover police escort follow me around for a month, we could get tickets to all the rednecks in the springs.

I was merging onto 470 during morning rush from broadway. I rolled up next to a base line imprezza (not the wrx). He looked over all ready to own me, but i didn't really care. When the light turned green he stalled his car as i slowly accelerated into traffic. kids...
