But that IROC with its 170hp (when new) is soooo fast man. Your rice burner wouldn't have stood a chance!
Actually I've always loved IROCs and would love to drop a built LS1 in one and have some fun with it.

LOL, you wouldn't have wanted this one. Mis-matched rusted body panels, the thing sounded like it was on it's last leg, it burned oil heavily under hard acceleration I noticed when he gave me a nice "show" as he passed me, and judging by the driver/owner there are probably loose dip tobacco packets all over the interior.
But in his defense, I'm sure it receives all kinds of attention from the tweens and pedophiles alike in his trailer park.

Challenged twice today, both in a similar manner.
Was cruising along at about the PSL when this smokin' hot blonde chick in a baby blue Tc comes weaving through traffic and gets beside me. She'd accelerate ahead of me, then slow down and cruise beside, over and over. WTF? Your Tc is SLOW, blondie. You're hot, your car...not so much.
Then had some dude on a sport bike challenging me. I haven't seen the emblem for this bike before, so I don't know what kind it was, but he did the same thing as the chick, only he kept glancing over to see if I was going to bite. I ignored him and eventually he left to find someone else to mess with. I wasn't going to A) match up against a sport bike or
haul *** through a crowded street through a residential zone, past a school and a fire station, in a 35 mph zone. No way, no how, not a chance.

I don't get people on crotch rockets trying to challenge cars. I rode a Suzuki GSX-R750 for years and NEVER egged anyone on. I take that back...there was this T88 Supra I ran once in the desert...it was fassssst
I got it though when car drivers challenged me. They were either incredibly stupid thinking they had a chance at my 10 second bike or (and most commonly IMO) they just wanted to see me "go" and see how fast I am. Or they wanted to see me do a wheelie or whatever (I would often get hand gestures for wheelies, LOL).
Sometimes in the twisties if I catch a crotch rocket I'll play with em, but I never mess with them on the highway or road. No chance (well, until I get my single snail, LOL)

i keep having random cars mess with me. a new dodge ram v8 yesterday and last weekend i had a intake only automatic early 80s integra try to rev on me on the freeway.. i pulled him without even dropping out of 6th
but i was happy when i pulled a bone stock evo 10gsr, i know the mr would kill me but that was a nice ego boost
i think its something about having a "girl car" that makes people underestimate it.

Challenged by a brand spanking new Camaro SS today on the way home. Came FLYING up behind me, and I tried to keep him from passing, but he walked me pretty good. Not a run away, but he definitely walked away.
Next intersection, he took off. I held back -- high cop area, and too much traffic for a run. He flew off, down a hill, and must have been watching me instead of the road. Truck pulled out in front of him and he didn't see it for about 2-3 seconds. Swerved HARD at the last minute. Avoided the truck, fishtailed HARD and damn near rolled the SS before getting it back under control. I thought for sure I'd be mopping his *** off the road. He is SOOO lucky. Probably doing over 90 when he swerved.
That's why I rarely respond to challenges -- too damn dangerous. That guy was so focused on going fast that he damn near killed himself.

Yeah, hardly haha. I only had the GSX-R for a year and a half or so then sold it and picked up a Yamaha V-Star 1100 cruiser. Much more comfortable to ride, but a shit ton slower and a pig in handling.

Probably has a VTA BOV, right?
I like the new Evo body style. Very good looking car.
