I thought of a couple from reading the last page.

Voicemail recordings...they don't even have to be anything the person recorded themselves, just the standard message from the company "press 5 to page this person with your number..." BS, I've heard it a thousand times, I don't need to hear it again.

Ordering parts...several years ago I ordered some springs for my Prelude and I chose priority shipping, which cost me at least $15 more. About two weeks later I called them. They said it was backordered and asked if I wanted them to let me know when they had some. I promptly told them to shove it up their *** because I paid an extra ~$15 to have it shipped immediately and they should call people under those circumstances, and to cancel my order. Then after I got the springs, I discovered they were for an Accord and not a Prelude. I called them again and they said they work on Accords and Preludes. Alas, they do not, because they ended up frying my KYB adjustable struts.

With the nice weather out now, apparently this has given my neighbors the green light to let their crazy giant *** dogs out without a leash on. I have two very small dogs, and after have my brother's dog mauled nearly to death by an off leash neighbors dog with no owners in sight, not to mention my own experiences with dogs getting in fights, I don't like it.

There are leash laws for a reason, but no one apparently gives a shit in my neighborhood. I counted 4 dogs off the leash yesterday, each time when I was taking my dogs outside (on leashes mind you), and all 4 of them each time came charging in my yard barking at my dogs. WTF? No owners around, either. I've started carrying my shotgun when I go outside now...

I hear you sir, we have 3 dogs all under 10lbs each and many large dogs see them as snacks...it makes walks a fun time. When a dog charges, i just pick up the pups and pup time in my pocket. honestly i just try to get between my dogs and the unleashed one. @#$$S irresponsible dog owners.

We have a 40 lb dog who is afraid of everything. The people next door have 2 rat dogs that they leave unleashed and they come into our front yard and bark at me like they own the place. I haven't seen the dogs in a month or so or I would have brought out the BB gun.

I'm not just blaming big dogs in general...mostly irresponsible dog owners. It seems no one gives a shit in my neighborhood. I wouldn't like it if a 10lbs terrier came ripping through our yard after my dogs, either. I'd probably punt it out on the street.

Errrr.....NO. Even if I hate it, sometimes I have to leave a message, or I want to bad enough to sit through the entire freaking message. So no, hanging up is not always the answer.

Also, another one about the Prelude. How about taking your car to AAMCO transmissions because you don't have reverse until the car is warmed up and it shifts hard into each gear, AND it seems like it comes out of gear when you make turns too fast...and AAMCO has your car for over a month and takes $2300 from you and doesn't fix a damn thing...AND they leave your alarm and wires hanging IN FRONT of the pedals making it a safety hazard. And they won't provide you a rental car because "it's not their policy" so you're assed out.

Then you get ahold of the AAMCO headquarters and they say they can't do anything about it. So you contact North Carolina Dept of Justice, and AAMCO lies to them saying the car was fixed but you can bring it back anytime you want (but they won't give you a rental car). Case closed you're screwed right? Not enough yet, as far as they're concerned.

So you buy another car (the RX-7) to drive so you can get this car fixed, and you take it to another AAMCO in another town since you have a 1 year warranty. They have the car for a month...not only do they not fix anything, they steal your stereo and speakers and then don't want to give you any money to replace what they've stolen.

DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO AAMCO. Driving it off a cliff would benefit you more.

Oh, another thing that grinds my gears...

when people put 1000 keywords in their Craigslist ad, or even worse, when they copy and paste those keywords from someone else's ad.

LOL, just kidding Ian

I think deliberate ignorance is the only thing that grinds my gears. I've been screwed by people so many different times, but it was kinda always 'live and learn' experience.

But when people deliberately ignore an overwhelming amount of evidence for or against something, or simply the data available on something, because they've decided they're right and everyone else bedamned.. that makes me more angry than anything else. They feel like a waste of a person to me.

And no, totally unrelated to anyone here, dealing with these sorts of people IRL.

Oh... another good one that any IT admins might agree with.

I HATE when people think the company should be buying them the latest-greatest phone/laptop/device. However I love listening to responses when someone tries to provide business justification for an iPhone or Android phone vs the BlackBerry they already have.... It's work people, you don't need the company to pay for a toy or your damn text messaging to your kids!

I hate it when people take what you say over text or email completely out of context and then you have to spend 20+ minutes explaining what you really meant and where the emphasis was supposed to be.
