keep wishin .....the 09 6s may have the larger 3.7L, (ive heard both a 3.5 and 3.7, not sure about the american version, but it will NOT be as fast as the speed.... [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tongue.gif[/img]
Welcome. I used to work at Buckley, but I work down here in the Springs now.
Wish I had a Speed6, but that's OK -- my 2009 6S will be as fast. [img]http://coloradomazdaclub.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif[/img] If they actually make them...and release them...and they aren't yachts....

They're getting the 3.7 because Ford won't share the 3.5L (because Ford is doing SOOOo well they don't need extra money...), and according to what I've read, it will come in at 265-275HP with torque in the 250-260 range. How fast it is will, of course, depend on weight and AWD vs FWD, but everything I've read says it will be LIGHTER than the current 6. The Euro and JDM ones are lighter.
That should put it in the Speed6 class at sea level. But up here, you turbo guys will still have the advantage due to our THIN air...
