I haven't had any of those problems and being from Texas I'd know if there was something wrong in high temps but thanks much for the update!

Me gotta go. I been telling the dealers forever that during hot weather I get rough idle. They look at me like I'm crazy. Oh well.

My lack of power is due to Tim stealing my Pettit SC. Once any of you see him with it, take it from him and send it to me.

Nobody gets my S/C, nobody! Well, unless they buy it before me. Still having a hard time swallowing the nearly 7k price tag, when all is said and done. If/when I go FI, this will still be the route I take.

And my power loss at the moment is substantial, as I don't have my car. They offered a rental after I dropped off the car...if it isn't done this afternoon, I'll go down tonight and pick something up.

If you do and they try to put you in a ford tell them again that you turned in an RX8 and they will upgrade you to a Merc Millan or a SUV.

They tried to put me in a focus or something like that and after mentining it, they upgraded me. Hope all is well.

If anyone read the TSBs, this is the one that scares me the most:

Some customers may experience a lack of engine power and an low engine idle speed during high ambient
temperatures. This may be caused by the following conditions:

• Poor sealing of rotor chambers due to an accumulation of carbon on the rotor housing trocoid surface. This is
caused by a lack of metering oil lubrication during engine start or insufficient ignition timing under high ambient
temperature condition. A revised PCM calibration is available which increases metering oil lubrication
amount during engine start. Ignition timing under high ambient temperature is recalibrated as well.
• Poor sealing of rotor chambers due to worn apex seals. This may be caused by lack of metering oil lubrication
during high ambient air temperature conditions. A revised PCM calibration is available which increases
metering oil lubrication during high ambient air temperature conditions.

Has anyone else taken their car in for the MSP 16 reflash? Gateway did mine when I took it there for the tranny. I can't base it off anything, since I had the Cobb test flash on there before, but not sure if there's any "seat of the pants" difference to the flash or not. I did notice it lost a little bit of pep from the flash I was running, so I've since put it back to the Cobb stage 1 production map.

My car went in this morning for my clutch pedal. Bracket broke. I suggest that all of you experience random grinding and stuff get on your floor and have a look see to make sure the spot welds haven't broken loose on the clutch braket. I'll call them and ask them about the flash.

UPDATE: I just called and it causes a lack of power and hurts performance. So I think I may not get it done. If I do I doubt I'd tell a difference seeing as I havn't driven the car for 3 weeks now cause of the cluth pedal snapping. Good thing it wasn't on the highway when it went.
