So, if engine mngmt. will allow you to hold boost and get more available power, how much of an effect will this have on longevity/reliability? Are we just making up for the high altitude, or are we negatively messing with the power output that Mazda intended...only to have an immediate power gain, but a boom-boom down the road:huh:?

There is always that chance, but at this altitude, we can definitely crank up the boost for what we have lost. That's one of those questions that nobody can give a def answer on unfortunately.

Now that I have a functioning gauge... I seem to be hitting 13psi max (generally using third to test). During WOT, I'm anywhere from 11-13psi on average.
