AMS Alpha 9 R35 GTR as fast a Veyron!!

The new $24,000 (plus $6000 for the install labor) AMS Alpha 9 package for the new R35 GTR puts the Nissan sportscar in $1.5m Bugatti Veyron territory! The Alpha 9 will keep pace with a Veyron until 130mph or so when the Veyron starts to pull away.

0-60mph in 2.6 seconds (quicker than a Veyron)
1/4 mile in 10.4 seconds at 137 mph on street legal DOT tires (car has gone 9.95 at 141)
Standing mile in 27.5 seconds at 189mph!

All this and it does without fuss, drives like a stock GT-R (until you want to go fast), and runs on 93 octane pump gas! Unbelievable.

This is probably the only car as of now I'd consider realistically selling my FD to get. It's just unreal how fast it is, yet it's so civilized at the same time.

They had a '10 GTR at the autocross last Sunday. Didn't have that package but it was cool!
