Water Meth Injection Kit
i am deciding on buying once for my speed 3, but if i were to buy it would i need to change out my fuel pump, injectors, and spark plugs or just by adding it get it tuned with my vehicle

I wouldn't think you'd really need to do any of those things. A tune is never a bad idea IMO, but still wouldn't say it's a "must do" after getting one. It's just a must do, because. =)

Yeah if you just use it as a safety net like I do you shouldn't need a tune. I use washer fluid and I don't think we even messed with it much when tuning my car, just the fuel map itself. I don't think washer fluid really affects it enough to need a tune. Of course that all depends on how much you dump in and when though haha.

There are two ways to view water/meth injection. One is as a safety buffer and injecting mostly water. This does some for performance, but you won't really notice anything.
The second is to run a higher content of meth, and retune your vehicle around it. This will get you the most power, obviously, but also makes you very dependent on the juice. If your pump fails, line gets clogged, you run out of juice, etc, your motor could be toast.
The power gains are nothing to sneeze at, however. I don't know about Speed3's, but I know Evo's can crank up the boost, advance timing, and lean out fuel maps and gain over 50awhp. Rotaries love it as well, since we are very sensitive to high EGTs. Again, this is a high meth to water ratio and making your tune dependent on it. Then, as you make more power, you ramp up the injection rate and you can make even power.
If I were you, I would just windshield washer juice and use it as a buffer. You will get a drastic reduction in IAT's. For every degree you lower your IATs you drop your EGTs by 2 degrees, so it's a big deal. The water also effectively increases your octane ratio of the fuel you are using because it acts like a buffer to combustion.
So all around a win/win. I always recommend water/meth for any forced induction vehicle and I love it!

Depends on which ones you get. Some do have additives. That's why you stick to the blue stuff, cause the orange ones do have extra additives that can be harmful. I still have 10 gallons of pure methanol sitting in my garage that I will mix myself if I ever get another WMI kit. Had to send the one I bought back because I went a little overboard on my spending this year, heh.
That brings up a question, can methanol get old and stale like gasoline can? Will it be bad for it to sit in my garage in gas cans for a year?

Depends on which kind you buy as to the mixture. I'm trying to find the chart that has the brands and concentration levels. Peak -20 degree stuff is ~30%. The +32 degree stuff is almost pure water.

This depends highly on brand, but mostly on the temperature rating of the juice.
The colder rated the juice, the more meth it has. You will never get any with over 30% though. Most are around 10% unless you get the real cold stuff. It sucks because in summer the stores will only carry the juice good for 0*, which is around 8-10% meth, that's it.
In Phoenix it was even worse sense we never got anything for colder than 32*F. That stuff is literally 1% meth.
But yes, some of the juice has additives, you just want to get the cheapest shit out there LOL. The cheaper it is, the less crap is added into it, generally speaking.
Just avoid anything green or orange, or anything that labeled as "bug wash". Those have some other additives that could be harmful, but really, we're talking a VERY slim chance it would do anything adverse to your motor.

I run meth mainly to drop BATs. Mine is set to engage above 10psi and when you go WOT you can see the BATs drop 20 or so degrees. My guess is that it would be more with a larger nozzle but im running mine on a 175ml/min. I need to try out the 225 ml/min but I can't find the damn thing. I run just straight blue window washer fluid. Its like 27% meth and 73% water. If you want to run a higher concentration you just buy HEET from walmart/auto store for like 1.50 a bottle and its like 99.5% methanol. You drain out some blue washer fluid and add two bottles to the remainder of the fluid and it should get you close to a 50/50 mizture if you need the extra fuel.
I found a place locally that sells methanol for $5/gallon. I plan to mix my own 50/50 mixture with distilled water (about 70 cents/gallon), so it will come out to about $2.85/gallon for 50/50 which is cheaper than using HEET and WW fluid, plus it would be easier to mix large batches of it since you wouldn't need a whole bunch of 12oz bottles of HEET. But yea if you don't care about running 50/50 then just plain WW fluid is probably the way to go.
