in the words of Adam Sandler..."This is something that could have been brougt to our attention [earlier]."
I could have hung out longer...nothing to do, and was considering ordering entree #3 at around 6:30.
IF we do another Denver meet spot, who will show up if we go to 8:30-9:00? Not everyone needs to be there the entire time. So some people can be there from 4:00-7 (like last night), and others can be there from 6-9. One of those wonderful things about being an adult...

People would stay longer if maybe more than 3 people would show. It has nothing to do with the start time, it has to do with people being too lazy to show up once every 2 or 3 months on a Thursday.
Yesterday "started" at 4, because I finish work at 3:30-3:45 and I walked over. I leave early because I want to get to see my 20 month old son before he goes to bed at 8.

I would try to make that.
2 of us RX8s are going to the track this Friday afternoon. HPR.
So Denver Meet on November 3rd...
I would NOT recommend Old Chicagos or the Pour House. What about the Brooklyn's off of Auraria. Decent sized parking area, good sized inside. Would also toss out the Wynkoop and Breckenridge Brewery (off of 5th and Kalamath). Parking is more limited at the Wynkoop. Mostly on street parking at Breckenridge as well.
As is usual on Thursdays, I'm in school until 4:45, and wouldn't be getting there until after 5:00.

Never been to Brooklyn, but would be down to check that out, I do like Brek Brewery, anything with free/available parking
