Sounds like he's already parted your car and sold it. Paint in the air? Fairy dust movement? Sheesh!

Or, are you sure you're not on Overhaulin'?

He doesn't have a true paint booth and basically you go in the man door and you are right in his painting area. He puts a big fan under the garage door (right next to the man door) and paints it like that. It works well for him and because he doesn't have a $100k paint booth, he is able to charge less.

One thing to note to anyone who is thinking of painting a car soon. PPG paint cost has gone up 16% this year.

No update on paint yet.

I got my big parts order in last night. The hatch seal came in as the wrong part (some misc. plastic part). I already spoke with the dealer and they are going to send the right one.

So do you go through his "man" door often?

That's what us architects call a swinging door next to an overhead door. Sorry nothing dirty.

I went over to the shop on friday. He was in the process of painting the car. He still needs to reinstall the front of the car. I couldn't get any pics.

Doesn't the front end get welded back on since it was cut off?

How is the car looking otherwise?

They're adding the 1985 RX-7 GSL-SE to Forza 4 in a week or so.

Wow, that looks so real. Does the game actually look that good?

It's pretty close. The graphics are very good. Makes me sad that I always drive in the cockpit or front bumper views because I don't get to see my cars as much, heh. Although the cockpit views are very detailed as well. It's cool driving an MS3 and recognizing little things like defrost vent placement and knowing they're in the right spot.

The cars look better in "showcase" view like that than they do when they're racing...but yes it's very close. I was blown away by how realistic some of the cars look. Anyway, that's awesome! Is it in a car pack or is it going to be free?
